This was our family's second trip to the Hana Maui Resort and my 4th over a 45 year span. A beautiful resort with gorgeous grounds and fantastic staff. Our family of 6 adults stayed in 3 Bungalows for 6 nights. The staff, amazing!! Kaala at the front desk was exceptional, just incredibly helpful and accommodating. Marlene at the infinity pool was amazing, great service and wonderful to speak with. Lucinda, Leilani, Lyman, Chey, and all the breakfast staff were wonderful. Housekeeping was incredibly accommodating as well. Our biggest complaint is the new policy of allowing "Day Passes" to people not staying at the Resort. We paid a lot of money for three Bungalows for 6 nights and the infinity pool was always overcrowded, hard to find chairs and impossible to find chairs with shade or even pool towels. And, multiple times there were 1 or 2 year olds in swim diapers in the hot tub. Crazy. That is a real deal breaker for planning a future visit.

Not worth the cash price, but a decent use of Hyatt points if you need a place to stay on the Road to Hana. I wouldn't want to stay here more than 2 nights. Multiple window shutters were partially broken. Window curtains were partially broken. Furniture seemed mismatched (low bed with high bedside tables, for example). Lots of random cosmetic issues throughout the room and hotel grounds. Staff was friendly and the location is beautiful. We ate at the nearby food trucks to avoid the poorly reviewed hotel affiliated restaurant.

We Found many Ants in room other than that pleasant stay and location can’t beat ! Our daughters loved playing outside our lanai great location close to hikes and trails in Hana. Disliked restaurant is across street and not open all day inside hotel breakfast was great. Bathroom needs updating cracks and leaks causing bugs to get inside
