Reviews for Hana-Maui Resort

Only Place in Town

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 17 hours ago

Hana Maui by Hyatt is pretty much the only show in Hana town. As we saw it, when there's no competition, there's no reason to upgrade the facility. Its very expensive for what it is. Room is huge, but not an efficient use of space. Very clean but tired. Staff is very attentive and friendly and helpful. Did I say its pretty much the only show in town. Not even a bar on the premises. Its across the street in the only sit down restaurant in town - owned by the resort. No big deal to walk there. Breakfast on premises is ok. Nothing special, but expensive. Good coffee though.

Spend days there, its worthwhile!

We have been lucky enough to be upgraded to a bungalow. Would I have known how nice they were, I would have booked that! We were there for only one night and I regret it. This hotel is so peaceful, so beautiful, it's heaven on hearth. And the service we received there was amazing.

As travel agents, we were checking out the resort for clients. We were blown away from the beginning. Check in was smooth, the shuttle driver hunter was amazing, the SPA! 10/10. Best sunrise in Maui

Blend of Relaxation, Culture, and Adventure in Hana

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Our stay at Maui Hana Resort was an incredible experience from start to finish. My wife and I especially loved attending the taro festival as it gave us a taste of the local culture from the traditional foods to the welcoming atmosphere. The resort itself was just as impressive. Our room was spotless and offered a beautiful, serene view that made it easy to relax. The common areas, including the gym and pool, were consistently clean and enjoyable to use, which really added to the overall comfort of our stay. What stood out most was the variety of activities available. When we weren’t out exploring local hikes or relaxing at nearby beaches, we had plenty to do, whether it was hitting the gym, lounging by the pool, or even playing tennis. It struck a perfect balance between relaxation and activity. Overall, it was a memorable trip, and we’d absolutely return for both the resort experience and the authentic connection to the local community.
