Great location in the centre of Town. All the sights close by. Very clean, well appointed hotel. Nice room but not extraordinary. Staff need training as they didnt really seem to understand how to do their jobs. Pool bar staff in particular. You will find a better Mojito elsewhere. Consiege staff helpful

The time to search for the perfect place to stay in Havana has come to a end. The Kempinski Manzana is truly what you can consider a Grand Hotel and the number ONE in Cuba. Not only in prime location ( truly every thing you want to see is walking distance) it is also a wonderful managed place. The modern and laid back luxury is never upfront it lingers discreet and pleases your eyes. The rooms are spacious and very cosy. You will not miss anything here. I loved the height of the room and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast the best I had from all hotels I stayed in Cuba. The breakfast room a big stylish saloon with high ceiling and a breathtaking view to the city. try to get a table on the window. You know and feel instantly how a hotel is managed by the way the stuff treats you. At Kempinski Manzana you will find most helpful and friendly servants and people working there. From the room maids to the waiters at the restaurant there is always a smile and feeling you are welcomed here. A beautiful bar with plenty of national and international signature cocktails plus a cigar room wait for you to enjoy your afternoons or evenings. But the the best has not come yet. Get in the elevator and drive up to the roof top bar and restaurant and pool. You gonna love this place and it has the most incredible view over the part of old Havana. Postcard image like the city lays in front and spreads his magic the moment you step out of the elevator. You can chill here on the pool, have a drink or eat in the wonderful restaurant. A stylish and tranquil spa offers all you need for rejuvenation and relaxing treatments. Event organizers and company owners watch out. The Kempinski Manzana offers a great variety of break out rooms and conference facilities. All amazingly designed - some with great terraces and inbuilt tech supply. Most of the facilities can be privatized and are great venues for weddings, company parties or anniversaries. After 5 days leaving this amazing hotel - it felt like leaving a old friend. I can highly recommend this unique and stunning hotel and promise you -Gran Hotel Kempinski Manzana La Habana i will be back very soon.

If you are looking for European style quality, you will choose this place. Wonderful setting in the middle of Havana Vieja, beautiful rooms with 4-5m high ceiling, modern amenities and wifi in the entire hotel (which is rare in Cuba). The rooftop pool and bar with the view over the old city was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and spontaneously helped organize a city tour in an old-timer. All in all - nothing to complain about. Enjoy Havana and Manzana Kempinski!

Only opened in autumn 2017, Havana's newest hotel is a step up in quality and also to the rooftop terrace with its bar and infinity pool with stunning views across Havana, in particular to Parque Central and to the Capitol. The hotel has been created within an old classical building, retaining the façade, but everything inside is new. My one complaint about the international-style décor is that, apart from one bar on the 2nd floor and a small display of ceramic tiles, you could be anywhere in the world. There is a great opportunity to display some good contemporary Cuban art and reinforce its identity within Havana. Around the hotel arcades at ground floor are luxury shops and the entrance into the spacious reception which also leads to the bars at the second floor. In addition to the pool and spa on the top floor there is an excellent bar in which to enjoy cocktails and the views. Drinks can be expensive, so check them out - cocktails were what I expected but a small bottle of imported water from Italy cost 5 CUC plus tip. There are a few more hotels under construction not far away. How will they fill all these beds?

For our last night in Cuba we decided to book this hotel after reading all the great reviews. Just becasue it's a refurbished hotel and looks glam does not mean your will get a 5 star experience. The check is was a disaster as the poor kid made the assumption (the group was made up of 2 females and 1 male) that one of the females and male was together because of the choice of bed in the room. The whole process was quite cumbersome (taking your passport, charging the card, signing up of WIfi card etc) only to find out the whole process had to be "redone" because the Guy assumed I was with one of the girls. When I got to my room I was like "Wow, I can now justify paying well over $400 for a room (2X more than I pay for London or Paris) only to get unpacked and get a knock at the door from the guy who had checked me in's saying "I'm so sorry, I have put you in the wrong room". So I had to pack up and move to a different room that was 1/2 the size of the one I had. I'm like ok, let's get past that..... So off the the roof top top pool that everyone bragged so much about. The views were wonderful but someone forgot to mention it is a tourist trap for people who ARE NOT staying at the Hotel to come "hang out". So here you are laying out in your swimsuit with Tourist snapping pics all around you and as a paying guest, good luck on getting service. We had a laugh we saw to guys come up, sit down, take off their shirts and lay all over the loungers and they were tourists. All in all I have to say the 3 Bed, AirBNB at $175 a night was a much nicer experience to this $400+ a night hotel.
