My only choice when coming to HCMC. Sofitel Saigon Plaza has never failed to surprise me and my kids. Last time, were sweet treat amenities and there was beans bag setup in the room this time. And you must check out ST25 by KOTO, which was recently openedon 2nd floor for dinner and lunch on weekend. What fascinating is all the recruited staffs were sort of having difficult situations in life and KOTO (non-profit org) brought them together and taught them cooking, serving skills. I have to say the food blew me away though it was modern Vietnamese. Must try the Thịt mam ruoc betel leaf, Bo luc lac, Flan. An attentive waiter who came to introduce and explain every dish with pride, so much more than it was priced vnd 320,000++ for a person. Highly recommended this restaurant, I guess not many go to 5 star hotel to have Vietnamese food, yet it will change your mind afterwards.

The hotel treated us like royalty and i cant wait to go back! From the first minute to the last as we left the car at the airport, everything was amazing. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and the hotel is kept in immaculate condition. Please read other reviews for different departments in the next few days.

we have always enjoyed our previous visits with xmas visits and Anniversaries going back almost 6 or so years prior to Covid. Well all I can say it simply just got better if i could ask for a perfect holiday we just had it.The hotel was always over 95% full during our visit. It was our 50th anniversary for us believe me the team went overboard for us The breakdown 1. Concierge . This is a well lead professional team led by a man that has been at Sofitel for many years nothing is too much trouble just ask even they seemed to know what you need. 2. Reception. The group of people have to deal with let's say some very good people but then some that I would throw out the door as it does not take much to be polite.Great job 3. The club. to gain access you have to book a club room or hold a platinum or Diamond Accor Plus card( I strongly recommend joining sure it costs a few $ but you get it back in spades) The group of young men & women cannot do enough for you , the way you ae greeted with warmth Ok we are visit a lot but that aside the way EVERYBODY is liked after just 100% the young manager got knocked off his bike so I hope he is OK 4.Mezz . This is the main restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The Sous Chef who has been at the Sofitel for many years went out of his way for us , always looking for different ideas. The array of food is brilliant my wife loves PHO which I well dislike (sorry hate).The place serves hundreds and to the manager and team many many thanks you help make it special.try the grilled oysters with cheese.Also many thanks for the extra kilos on me. They had lots of large groups during our 14 days no problems it simply works so well At night it transforms into KOTO which is a group helping some young people get afoot hold into the industry they are just so good 5. No 17 Bistro this place would stand its ground against our Best in Melbourne(which is the food capital of Australia) The food presentation the quality and the portion is great none of the 50grams of protein on a 400 ml plate so you have to grab a hamburger on the way home , with a must try the mashed potatoes that have a little kick to them. The team are extremely attentive without being too much.I think these guys are so good if its season its ready. The group are just so good 6. The Pool. Now we spent a number of hours around in it . The team at the pool are perfect some of the best cocktails I have even had made by a young bloke who looks like a body builder but the kindest sole you could ever meet. I have been on a no wine , beer and spirits due some health issues an the hotel got in some wines and beers that had zero alcohol , I did get approval to have a couple of normal drinks but the stuff they supplied was really good even in the Bar in the room. 7. on all our visits we have stayed in the same room at our request which my wife thinks should be renamed the "our name"suite. The housekeeping staff even with me being messy fantasticThank You. 8.The Boudoir bar This bar is just to the right of the entrance Lilly who is new to the hotel is a wonderful host the young bartenders knowledge of gin is simply outstanding . Lastly the GM and THE AGM thanks thanks thanks,WHAT A TEAM WISH YOU GUYS COULD COME TO MELBOURNE TO FIX SOFITEL COLLINS STREET I as you may have noticed not used any names, but I have to single out two Sofitel people one who spent a lot of time with us being with "Anna" the other when A was off IVY Along with the team you two made it so special in fact "A" is almost family. I stayed one night in Sofitel Saigon with my husband. In fact, I decided to travel to Ho Chi Minh City because my friend recommended Sofitel Saigon. I had expectations, but I checked in without expecting much because satisfaction may vary from person to person. However, the pleasant experience began with the check-in. Ms. Buu's kindness in helping me check-in was not a lie, but I could feel that she was treating the guest with her warm heart. Although it may be a basic task, customers can see how the service provider responds with the speaker's smile, speech tone, and communication. * Thanks Buu :) After the pleasant check-in, I realized the reputation of Sofitel Saigon Plaza because the nice and clean room and the restaurant staff in the hotel were all so kind. 1. Breakfast 2. Boudoir Lounge : Desert & Coffee 3. Pool bar : Food & Beer I ate the three things above, and all the chefs here are really good at cooking. Thumbs up!! I thought I should come back here to eat!!! Plus the atmosphere with lovely staffs made me feel I am in heaven :) Perfect hotel in HCM and I'll definitely come back to stay !
