The worst hotel i have ever been. Never seen a hotel front office with so lack of manners. Rude, unkind and not professional. The only thing what they are trying is to upsell a early check-in. In one word ridiculous.

We loved this hotel. Very convenient to LA sightseeing, especially the Hollywood/Burbank areas. Attached to the Ovation mall, Dolby Theater and the Chinese Theater, there is shopping, food and entertainment all within easy walking distance. The staff is wonderful. The price fair. The hotel is clean and safe. The rooms are very spacious and the views are awesome. You can clearly see the Hollywood sign from several vantage points around the hotel. We moved around town using mostly Lyft, and caught rides quickly every time. There was even a Lifetime Achievement Award function at the Dolby Theater one of the nights we were there. Watched them set up the red carpet and then stars arriving right from out room!

The hotel has comfortable rooms and the staff are generally friendly. It is also close to the famous Dolby Theatre and the TCL Chinese Theatre. On arrival we were charged a holding fee. Unfortunately we paid in cash. We were told that we would receive a receipt for the monies we paid the following day. However this didn’t happen as we were then told the system could not issue a receipt. On the last evening we had a meal in the hotel bar which we charged to the room. Upon check out we were advised that the balance of $43 owing to us would be returned to our account. However despite numerous attempts through our travel agent to get the monies no money was ever returned. We were also disappointed to discover there is no direct way to contact the hotel. This behaviour is unacceptable from any hotel. As a result would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Such a great home away from home in Downtown LA! The staff are unbelievably kind & caring, nothing is ever too much trouble! We want to specially shout out to Raymund who always greeted us with so much kindness & unaware to him, his kindness cured some homesickness I was feeling in LA. He really cared about us & was a smile familiar face every day! We will be back!

Enjoyed staying at Lowes for the location. Rooms are good and has positive vibes. Will reccomend though slightly pricy but if in one's budget, is worth it. Easy walk to hall of fame and restaurants. Very lively atmosphere and perfect location to explore Los Angeles and is in safe area of hollywood.
