The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is, without a doubt, a true flagship property for the brand. Its location on Hong Kong Island is absolute perfection—incredibly central and convenient to get anywhere in the city. What truly sets this hotel apart is its heartfelt and attentive service. A special shoutout goes to Terry, the Director of Housekeeping. After finding out that our room wasn't ready in time, Terry stepped in proactively to coordinate everything. Without us even asking, he thoughtfully arranged a complimentary late check-out until 3:00 PM. It’s this level of anticipation and care that defines luxury. The room itself was wonderful. The amenities were top-notch, the bedding was exceptionally comfortable, and the complimentary sparkling tea was a delicious touch, making it an excellent choice for a local staycation. Even though the main swimming pool was undergoing renovation, the hotel handled it beautifully by offering guests alternative options for both indoor and outdoor pools, complete with complimentary taxi transfers to the location of our choice. If there is one minor area for improvement, it would be the breakfast. While the service at breakfast was excellent, the flavor was a bit ordinary and the variety was somewhat limited. On the bright side, the in-room dining was a completely different story—both the taste and the pricing were highly reasonable. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. Thank you to Terry and the team for making our staycation so memorable!

Good service, good location and good experience

Was delighted to have the chance to visit HK for work and leisure, and we took the opportunity to go back to the newly renovated Landmark Mandarin Oriental. Love the new furnishings and touches of green and red in the guest room and throughout - the place feels vibrant yet light and still full of the MO charm. Service is always 100% excellent. I traveled a lot for work in the last six months and comparing the experience to other 5-star chains I can attest the MO’s service is the platinum standard. No other hotel chain compares. MO’s elegant, intuitive service is delivered without the guest having to ask. From check-in to checkout with the front desk and reception team, to the breakfast crew, in-room dining and housekeeping, everyone was exceptional. Thank you for the great stay, the room upgrade and the farewell souvenirs. Will definitely be back!

Charming and stylish hotel with exceptional service. Front service staff were warm, professional, and very detail-oriented. The post-renovation interiors feel fresh, elegant, and modern. A lovely place to stop for coffee or a restful break after shopping at Landmark Hong Kong. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed for a week at the Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong and loved the post-reopening vibe. The rooms got superb upgraded, with thoughtful facilities that feel both luxurious and homey—extremely comfy. The staff were consistently professional and helpful, making my stay smooth. Room are very clean daily. Dining at Amber and Sommier was a pleasure, each offering delicious experiences. The location is very central, ideal for both business and leisure.
