Disappointing decline at The Langham
Experienced profound disappointment with the start of our five-night stay today. As former Hong Kong residents of 18 years, we chose The Langham for its legacy of excellence, but our experience today has been anything but 5-star. Upon arrival, we were subjected to aggressive upselling; being told our booked room was 'not as good' after declining an upgrade set a very poor tone. This was compounded by a significant front-desk oversight: the receptionist failed to take our credit card details, leading to a humiliating 'do not post' restriction when we tried to sign for drinks. Being 'marched' back to reception to fix a staff error was unnecessary and embarrassing. At this stage, we are seriously reconsidering the remainder of our stay.

Old reliable
The Langham is still the same as before the pandemic . Luxurious feeling of the lobby but now too many guests that all you see are people in the whole afternoon and maybe can only enjoy it early morning and late night The wait for elevators are still as fast as usual , always available as soon as you press the button . I love it. Rooms are clean and nice . Wish they had disposable bottled water instead of refillable ones though

Wonderful Hotel with fabulous service. Particularly Tiffany the concierge. Tiffany is delightful and extremely helpful. She was born to be in customer relations.

All round excellence.
I could not rate The Langham Hong Kong highly enough. The location, service, ambience, quality and style of the rooms, friendliness of the staff and food were all second to none. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Good hotel with convenient location
Staff were very nice and attentive. Special call out to Wilson at the front door helping me with my luggage and detailed information on how to get to my destination.
