The Langham Hong Kong

Exceptional. Their commitment to customer service is evident in everything they do, from a staff member making sure you don't trip on the stairs in the breakfast hall every morning (even though it is very unlikely to happen), to asking you if you would like your room made up in the evening after we mistakenly put our 'do not disturb' on during the day. We also had an issue with a double charge on our account when we got home, which they sorted out within 24 hours through whatsapp and email.

Great stay overall . Hotel is in a premium location making it easily accessible to all must see places . Food was great , rooms were clean and staff friendly . Try and accommodate early check in esp when there are kids depending on availability .

I booked an one bedroom suite which was comfortable but compact as with many HongKong and Singapore hotels although the bathroom was not too small. Unfortunately I requested a high floor room but was allocated a suite only two floors above the accommodation commencement level which was disappointing. The hotel is very convenient to transport and shopping but the entrance on Peking Road is cordoned off and you have to use the subway when coming from Nathan Road. The hotel staff and particularly the club lounge staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. The canapes served during sundowners mainly suited white wines and not red and does not match that served at the Kowloon Shangri La and the Cordis Mongkok which I consider superior.

I booked this hotel through American Express FHR and absolutely loved my experience. I'm new to the Langham brand, and such a fan now! The check-in process started off with a hiccup, but was wonderfully rectified by the professional front desk staff. For FHR, they give you a cute sheet with all the benefits, including breakfast (buffet/room service), $100 credit, late checkout, room upgrade etc. I got upgraded to the deluxe twin room, which I highly recommend because it's renovated with the white marble bathroom. As a note, these are true twin beds, not full-size. The hotel has an English vibe, and both lobby decor and rooms are gorgeous. My room was immaculate. I bet a woman was involved in the design because the lighting in the bathroom and room are probably the best I've ever seen in a hotel and I enjoyed it very much. It's the worst when you're in a dark hotel room trying to read something, or trying to apply makeup in crappy ("vibey" lol) bathroom lighting. The thermostat was also very responsive, which is not always the case in Asia, even in 5 star hotels. Overall, the room was a great size for HK and such a comforting oasis within the midst of the busy city. The service is also outstanding, from the front desk, to the door people, room service, and housekeeping. The staff are so good at what they do! Location is great with loads of restaurants around and close to the MTR. It's also easy to grab a cab or Uber because of the separate hotel entrance.

Great experience. Recommend. Everything good. Spa, gym staff very good and attentive. We did a coctail class with Pak who was very good.
