The Langham Hong Kong

I had a very nice stay at the hotel. Everything was very great, and im very happy for the stay. Thank you also for Sherin from the Food Gallery who is very friendly and welcoming to have a conversation with us and recomended a lot of places to travel in Hongkong, her company really elevates our staying experience here. Would definitely comeback to The Langham again to meet more excellent people as Sherin. Thank you!

The hotel had a pleasant, clean scent from the moment I walked in, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I truly enjoyed the breakfast, as well as the relaxing jazz music in the lounge at night. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong.

Langham HK is a famous hotel, especially it promotes as a Forbes 5-star hotel in previous years. However, this experience really made me felt disappointed, in terms of the cleanliness, facilities and service. My wife arrived at 16:00 with a big suitcase and we entered the hotel through driveway. There were doormen, concierge, maybe guest relations, but none of them assisted my wife’s suitcase. The room was assigned an old decoration and last room of the corridor. The view was facing to an extremely closed office building. Most of the time we just closed the curtains. The room carpet looks dusty and aged. Furnitures are tear-and-wear. We found that the bed sheet was broken with a big hole, but the room attendant did not change it. I could not understand why the housekeeper did not realize it or too lazy to change it. The hairdryer suddenly stopped when my wife was using it. I called the operator to send another to the room. In the evening of our 2nd night, I found that there were chocolate and earl grey tea from our minibar consumption on the TV billing, but I swear that I never touch it and even open the small fridge. IT IS JUST RIDICULOUS!!!!! I call to front desk and a lady said she would remove it. For this malfunction of hair dryer and the wrong charge of minibar, the hotel staff never speak a word of apology and any recovery. It is just disappointing. In HK, it is a competitive market for luxury hotels. I would absolutely not recommend Langham. I personally recommend Kowloon Shangri-la or East if your budget is similar. Rosewood is a good option if you have more budget.

I have booked a message service with gift certificate, Karen greeted me with comfort and courtesy. During the section, she patiently explained the process and always anticipated for my feelings. She shared her knowledge of body structure, my body situation and how I reacted to her touch. It’s such a delightful experience and I felt totally relaxed and refreshed after my section. Will definitely come back and highly recommend Karen to anyone who looks for an experienced and caring masseuse.

I and my friend met in Hong Kong last week for a reunion gathering, and we both enjoyed the warm hospitality at The Langham. Special thanks to the hotel staff at Palm Court Lobby Lounge for the exceptional service offered and the delicious cakes, champagne, and chocolate. Front desk staff offered warm service as well.
