The Kahala Hotel & Resort

I was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The stay felt calm, well-managed, and comfortable, with a level of service that made it easy to fully unwind. Plumeria Beach House was a highlight-great atmosphere and food that felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The best part, though, was the pool: open 24/7 and pleasantly warm, which made swimming any time of day (or late at night) perfect. I’ve stayed at other hotels in Hawaii where the pool water was uncomfortably cold, so this made a huge difference.

The hotel room is almost perfect. A comfortable bed, large closet with enough hangers, a robe and slippers, bottled water in the room, easy to use and responsive AC control, beautiful view, turndown service with chocolates, a tub that drains so you are not standing in soapy water, a desk and table, a comfortable sofa and a TV with a good selection of channels. If there was a little more light in the bathroom to put on make up on and a grab bar for ease of getting in and out of the shower/tub the room would be perfect. The food for events and in the restaurants is good and the grounds are lovely and next to the water. The major problem with this resort is the captive dolphins in the human made lagoon. It is too much small for such large and intelligent creatures.

Staff from the moment we parked our car to checking in and getting room services has been top notch. Jock was particularly the most helpful, friendly and very accommodating with our requests. Everyday the staff greeted us with a smile and making us feel the Ohana spirit. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The resort was beautiful and all the details of the hotel was on point. We loved the Nespresso bar in our room. We had an opportunity to have daily pastry and coffee at the small cafe as well as the Italian restaurant on site. We were impressed.

First and foremost is the service and friendliness we received from the entire hotel staff at our first step into the Kahala until our tearful last steps leaving the property! Have visited Oahu many times over the years and have to say the Kahala Resort is hands down our favorite. It's not because its brand new and everything is shinny and new but because its the way you feel upon entering into what I call the "Old School" service oriented hotels of yesteryear. That makes up for any little, and highly unlikely little issue you may come across regarding something trivial. The location is perfect! While we enjoy the hustle and bustle of Waikiki being just a short distance from it allows you to easily get to it when you want. However, upon returning we usually say, "Let's just stay on site now for the rest of our stay!" A truly magical place. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so great. We will be back soon!

We had nothing but next level care and subsequent, joy, at the Kahala resort .From the ease of booking the best rates, the absolute best bell service, valet, housekeeping, room service , property restaurants were enjoyed by all… Several of our group of friends and family that traveled to Oahu stayed here for my sons wedding. Everyone enjoyed their subsequent Accommodations, but none more than the bride and groom, that enjoyed a beachfront room - allowing us all access to enjoy the kahala beach as if it were our front yard. The delay in renovating the dolphin view rooms caused a bit of a hiccough at first for us, but we were taken care of and upgraded to both dolphin AND ocean view- a suite no less- which was so ideal as I had grandkids to watch periodically .. the beautiful pool- heated to a level of comfort that had even our most hesitant of swimmers, jumping in first! We chose the kahala to be near everything- but AWAY from everything .. and it was, exactly that! We will NEVER forget your hospitality and how it made this wedding trip absolutely perfect
