Where do I start? This resort exceeded my every expectation. My husband and I went to Hawaii for the first time to celebrate our 10th anniversary and my birthday and I’m so glad we chose this resort. The service from valet, front desk, concierge, room service, to housekeeping was outstanding. I wanted to be close enough to Waikiki beach but wanted to wanted the time I spent at the beach to be relaxing. The resort did that for us. The beach was beautiful and peaceful. I’ll certainly return.

Very good hotel, great service, excellent location away from chaos downtown but only short distance away, wonderful sunrise and sunset views. Would recommend to anyone and will return upon any stay on Ohau.

With most impressive appearance inside the hotel, gorgeous beach and the yummy food, we really have had a good time with my spouse to spend our twenty fifth marriage anniversary. The amicable manner of their staff and their professionalism have impressed us as well. It really deserves for being a five-stars hotel. The dolphin quest center has provided a very good opportunity for us to play around with the dolphins, which is not common in other hotels and we really had a happy and unforgettable moment . The availability to watch sunrise (within the walking distance at the beach) and sunset (a few minutes’ drive at the near-by area) is another free attraction. Meanwhile, there were several newly-wed couples taking pictures inside the hotel and the beach by photographers. This spells the romantic and cozy environment . Looking at some celebrities' pictures being posted on a corridor, who visited this hotel in the past decades continuously, I understand why they chose this hotel. We like this hotel very much and we would be back if we go to Honolulu again although we are not celebrities.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it's simply amazing! The staff do everything they can to make it a wonderful stay. The hotel have thought of everything so you receive the best service possible! It was amazing that you would see it was busy at breakfast as the hotel is huge, but throughout the day, it didn't feel crowded as the hotel has so much space with various parts of the hotel available to relax. We hardly left the hotel in our 6 days there as there isn't any need to as a selection of restaurants are on site, spa, shops...everything! Thank you to all the staff that made our honeymoon perfect!

We stayed at the end of our Hawaiian tour at The Kahala resort for a couple of nights. The hotel is situated at the end of a private road outside Honolulu in a quiet residential area so we recommend that you rent a car if you plan on going sight-seeing (I think you can even rent a car at the hotel). We were welcomed by a smiling team with flower leis. As well as previous stays in other hotels, we were left to find our hotel room ourselves which seems to be common in Hawaii. Our room was modern and vast with the garden facing the dolphins lagoon (no ocean view). We spent hours in the patio watching them play and loved it! The hotel is the house of other aquatic animals: one manta ray and two turtles, which made the happiness of young and old. The resort is family-friendly: there were a lot of family with young children when we stayed. The hotel has a lot of rooms and the common areas can become very busy so be prepared to share your space, but our room was in another building and was very quiet. Good to know: we were able to use the hospitality suite to refresh ourselves before our flight. Overall it was a lovely place to stay outside the bustle of Waikiki beach, with a great staff and nice amenities.
