Needs a lot of renovations
We mainly stayed at this resort for the Dolphin Encounter but found these hotel rooms to be a bit outdated. The A/C (fan) in the room was very loud and woke us up several times during our 2 night stay. The staff was kind and helpful and the beach was absolutely beautiful but the food was disappointing (except for the Italian restaurant next door). To be honest, we will probably not return to this hotel as we feel there are better options on Oahu.

The hotel wasn't worth the cost of the room. The room itself was nice but the resort is very dated. The pool is small.
I wouldn't stay here again, although we did have a lovely time. Breakfast buffet is huge but wouldn't pay $55 for it as it was included with our room. Beach and ocean was beautiful and the service was outstanding. The property needs a face lift.

Magical Kahala Spa
Love the Kahala Spa! Lala was amazing. She was so sweet and did an excellent job on my massage. I enjoy relaxing in the cabana afterwards, it's so peaceful.

Awesome stay at the Kahala hotel
An unexpected joy! Was in town for a medical procedure and chose this hotel because family live next door, and it was perfect. Comfortable and gracious, it was the perfect place for a brief convalescence! Would come again under better circumstances.

Relaxing
Came for a Memorial Service Also saw one of my brothers, and many friends between me and my daughter. My daughter was born in Honolulu at The Queen’s Medical Center. I was an attending physician there for 25 years. Coming back made me realize how much I miss living here.
