We stayed at this hotel for a conference. The hotel was phenomenal. Service was outstanding, and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We had a room on the top floor with a view overlooking the golf course and mountain. I was on a long conference call and happened to look out my room to see an incredible rainbow right outside! One of the most gorgeous features (and there are many) is the orchid wall - a staircase connects the lobby to the lower lobby, and the wall has been planted with an incredible collection of exotic orchids. Just stunning. The lobby area is really quite breathtaking. The restaurants were all top-notch. The hotel also features neat little lagoons stocked with colourful reef fish, a sting ray, two sea turtles, and, of course, dolphins. The beach and ocean cove are lovely and very kid friendly - even with gusting winds, the waves were calm and kid-safe. The water off the beach is very very shallow - we went snorkelling out to the wave break and the water wasn't much higher than 2 or 3 feet. The snorkelling off the beach is just "meh" for more avid snorkellers, but it would be a good, safe intro for kids or less confident swimmers. The drinks and pool/beach-side restaurant are particularly excellent - drinks were never far away while out relaxing in the sun, and the fish tacos are 10/10. The business centre was also very helpful - I was able to print some documents and have them scanned seamlessly and with assistance from very friendly staff. Staff also made arrangements to courier the materials via FedEx. It was an easy place to get work done (even when I'd rather be at the beach). The room was great - we were late arrivals and the hotel was jammed for the conference, so we had two double beds, but there was a double his/her vanity on either side of the bathroom, a giant shower and soaking tub, and plenty of storage. Guests are greeted with beautiful orchid Leis on arrival, which add a wonderful sense of occasion. I travel extensively for work, and this hotel experience was truly top-notch.

Top notch staff and service. We had a “scenic view room” which, in our case, was a view of the golf course. The room was large and spacious. The bathroom had double sinks, separate tub and bath, plenty of storage space. What stands out at this hotel is the friendliness of staff. Every time we passed by any staff member, they would greet us as if we were family members.

We absolutely loved the hotel. Everything from the room to the service to the private beach was outstanding. I really liked the location of the hotel because it was secluded but close enough to downtown if you wanted to venture out. The shuttle service to the malls was also very nice! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a five star relaxing vacation. We will definitely be coming back.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and i have to say it is so nice and relaxing. The place is great and pet and kid friendly with so many things to do and places to go. The people there are always smiling which is amazing and makes you feel better if you don’t feel great. The beach is so nice with a reef with fish you can look at. At the Kahala you can even go swimming with dolphins This place is awesome i strongly recommend staying here
