The Kahala Hotel & Resort

This resort is simply outstanding. The service is conscientious and superb. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of. It compares very favorably to Kapula Bay on Maui. It’s beautiful, peaceful, relaxing. Located away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. If you are looking for tranquility, this is your place. We cannot wait to return.

From the moment you pull up, the staff is professional, courteous, and treats you like part of the family. The hotel is a perfect representation of the island. From the rooms to the beach, you experience a truly great vacation.This includes all of the restaurants and their teams. Some highlights were Linda in reception, the Italian restaurant Cino, as well as the valet staff. All added to the experience. You are close enough to the controlled chaos of Waikiki, the vibe of the North Shore, and yet just far enough away to have a tranquil setting. Would change nothing, and cant wait to come back.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Kahala Resort. After evacuating from our previous hotel due to power loss from Hurricane Lala, we were grateful for how friendly and accommodating the resort staff were from the moment we arrived. The skies cleared for the rest of the week, giving us the peaceful, restful vacation we were hoping for. A truly memorable experience.

Kahala Hotel & Resort is a beautiful oceanfront hotel just east of Diamond Head. Elegant open air lobby and well appointed guest rooms. But best aspect of hotel is its excellent staff. Everyone was welcoming, hospitable and helpful.

Amazing experience, especially during the hurricane. The entire hotel team was outstanding—great communication, a constant focus on safety, and incredible service despite losing power. They cleaned up so quickly afterward that you would hardly know a storm had come through, and somehow even managed to provide a great breakfast buffet. Truly impressive leadership and an exceptional team. Highly recommend!
