I never write reviews simply because none of my prior experiences were that spectacular or noteworthy. For The Kahala, however, it feels almost like a duty to share. I stayed in the middle of April when the weather was absolutely perfect. My son and I were greeted with cool and minty wet towels along with a couple of keepsake necklaces. The check in process was quick and easy. Our rooms were pristine and kept that way for our entire stay. I called the hotel to get the names of the people who assisted us during our stay. Ling Ling, Evangeline, and Wanmei were our room's housekeeping staff. They did such a phenomenal job of keeping the room tidy. I think they must have cleaned 3 or 4 times a day because every time my son and I went out and came back, the room was tidied up. The evening turn down service was also quite nice. Lorna helped us extend our stay an add'l day. Thank you, Lorna, for keeping us in the same room! Lastly, a big thank you to Wally, the Bellman, who assisted me with loading and unloading our luggage and stroller, brought us towels for the beach, gave us tips on where to go, and for being so friendly (and beautiful). I hope to come back again soon.

There were 2 Managers Sean (or Shawn) and Paul who were so excellent I had to write something about how well they treated my mother and I. We were there for a ‘special occasion’ of spreading my father’s ashes after he passed away after 47 years of marriage. All I can is they went above and beyond and represented the hotel with aplomb. This level of service should be recognized because as the hotel, as stunning is, and it is quite stunning, it wouldn’t have been the glorious time that it was without these two managers. They deserve a raise. Truly 10 out of 10 service! I’ll always be grateful they made a such a sad time bearable.

Spent 4 days here for our wedding anniversary. It was our first trip to Hawaii and after staying at the Kahala, we are 'ruined' for staying anywhere else in Oahu. The service and facilities are top notch. Spacious rooms, beautiful views made us want to just stay and relax. They serve an expansive breakfast buffet. It's a premier location away from hustle and bustle of Waikiki and Honolulu located near a beautiful golf course.

Our family had the most wonderful stay at the Kahala Hotel & Resort. We considered a lot of properties but finally selected the Kahala and are so glad we did! The resort was beautiful, the staff was very accommodating, everything was so clean, the restaurants on site were wonderful, beach access was very convenient, and the pool was sparkling! Our room's view was over the waterfall and golf course and was so lovely to sit on the veranda in the morning and evening. Wonderful to walk along the beach as well in the morning and evening. So nice to be away from the crowds and commotion of Waikiki. Short driving distance to the airport, Pearl Harbor, Waikiki, and other dining options. Resort could have used a few more lounge chairs poolside and for the beach. All in all...absolutely wonderful!
