Beautiful room beautiful view
Absolutely beautiful area! The hotel was clean and nice. We loved the fireplace and that we could walk outside to the balcony and see a beautiful view. Kind staff, and overall a great stay.

Watch the wind suffers all day!
This is a beautiful Hotel and the location is perfect. The grounds are very nicely cared for and The rooms are nicely appointed ( with one caveat) and the staff on duty ( Christine) is very efficient. The one caveat in the room we were in is a ridiculously small sink in the bathroom. Not only is it tiny but the faucet is offset to the side so the water gets all over the place. With this said the positives far outweigh the silly sink and this hotel is highly recommended.

Beautiful Mediterranean style hotel
This is a beautiful hotel in a fabulous setting. The grounds are immaculate and there are great views of the Columbia River in every direction. The rooms are very nicely appointed ( with one caveat to be explained) and a person can spend all day looking at the wind surfers below. The staff person, Christine, is very attentive and the location is a short distance away from town but very easily accessible to downtown Hood River. The one caveat previously mentioned is the ridiculously small sink in the nice bathroom . Not only is the tiny shallow sink an odd shape.but the faucet is placed so the water hits the side making it difficult to wash without getting water all over the place including your clothes. With this said the cliffs is highly recommended as the pluses heavily outweigh the silly sink.

Fantastic easy to find location. Beautiful views. Excellent office staff. Excellent maid staff. Nice,extremely well appointed rooms. Large selection. Very good price for such an upscale building. Real bang for the buck. And I am a miser and was very pleased with my room rate. Quiet,secluded,this Harvard grad says big win here.
