Hopkins Bay Resort

Beautiful place, beach and experience.

This is the 3rd Muy'Ono property we have visited and once again we were not disappointed. As usual, the grounds were beautiful and well-kept, and the staff were amazing (shout out to Michelle and King in the restaurant!). Very convenient location for excursions, and right on the beach! Our only complaint is that the accommodations were quite noisy. Each building is divided into a 3 bedroom unit, which can be subdivided based on the current occupancy. We reserved one bedroom, which meant that there were 2 other couples/families staying in the other 2 bedrooms. The room off the main living area was divided by a single door with seemingly no soundproofing. We could hear the neighbors snoring! Upstairs was a family with 2 year old twins who loved to run and jump very early in the morning. We shared our concerns with the staff who assured us that they are aware of the issue and are working on a solution. With that in mind, we would certainly recommend a stay at this incredible resort!

Fabulous resort! we stayed in a house right at the water. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the place clean. We had fun in the pool and using the kayaks on the ocean. The rooms were perfect for us, and having the whole house for 5 of us gave us plenty of space. There really was no noise at all. We rented a golf cart for the week, which I would recommend, as it allowed us to go into town and grab groceries as well as try a variety of restaurants. We ate several meals at the Rum shack, and all were great however I think if we ate every meal on the resort, we would have become bored, as there is only one place to eat. It was lovely to go into town at eat at some of the locals places to get a taste of authentic cuisine. The staff at reception were amazing, so incredibly friendly, and always willing to give advice. If you are looking for a more chilled vacation, this is a great place however if you are looking for lots of entertainment and a huge variety of things to do, you may want to choose a different location. Overall, this was the perfect place for us to unwind and spend some family time together.
