We stayed two nights here. The kids enjoyed the bikes to rent. The rooms were beautiful. The coffee in the rooms was very convenient and tasted good. We didn't eat at the restaurant. But the staff came promptly when we found a small pile of ants in the room. Enjoyed the pools, kayaks and the beach.

Beautiful resort. Rooms are just as pictured. Visit could have easily been rated a 5 if the resort staff would have been pleasant. With the exception of about 3 staffers, the rest of the staff were not what you expect to encounter at a vacation resort. Rude, non-engaging and made us feel like we were intruding or bothersome. We have traveled many times into Mexico and Central America and never have had this experience. We also had some items taken from our room while away on an excursion, so lock up everything you want to return home with you regardless of value. If you want to feel welcome, visit Santa Elena and Placencia.

The resort was some what desolate when we arrived. It was nice and felt like we were on a beautiful semi deserted island. Our villa wasn't fully functional at arrival. We had to call 4 different times for different issues such as no hot water. The staff, however was very accommodating and prompt in resolving the issues. We didn't spend a lot of time on the resort but did have dinner and drinks a few nights during our stay. We had a great time biking and using the kayaks. The staff would be the best part of the resort. Allen, Teo, Aveline and a few others I can't remember helped make our trip amazing. Everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well treated.

Staff went above and beyond for us after our son left his phone and wallet. Our family of four rented a three bedroom villa. Teenage boy didn't have to bunk with tween sister. They were both happy. I don't have any complaints and would go back. The wifi was spotty a couple days but staff called in tech to fix it. We drove down from Belize airport and used the villa as a base of operations for diving, hiking, site seeing. We ate at the Rhum Shack or got local Garifuna food at mom and pop restaurants. We bought groceries in Hopkins.
