Short winter break in Hopkins
Great accommodation right on the beach. Snorkeling and fishing were awesome. Friendly helpful staff. Plenty of restaurant options on and off the resort. Allow plenty of time for transfers to and from the international airport.

Great place.
We were a group of 10, ages 2 to 78. There was something for all of us. The accommodations were wonderful, as was the food (we opted for the meal plan). All the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a great time!

A Rainy Getaway Made Exceptional by Outstanding Staff
Hopkins Bay Resort was a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. I shared a three-bedroom villa with two friends, and we were impressed by how spacious and clean everything was. The villa included a full kitchen and a welcoming living area, which made it feel like a home away from home. Although it rained five out of the seven days we were there, the incredible staff truly made our trip enjoyable. Benjamin picked us up from the airport and drove us back at the end of our stay—he was both friendly and knowledgeable, making the ride pleasant and informative. King and Chavis, two of the servers we saw daily, were especially kind, attentive, and genuinely warm. Michelle, another server, was also wonderful and added to the positive experience. Andrew, who arranged our excursions, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and even assisted us with our bags. His efforts made planning activities seamless despite the weather. Honestly, the staff made all the difference—without them, the constant rain might have ruined our trip. Instead, we had a great experience overall and would definitely return.

Spectacular
My husband and I had a fabulous time at Hopkins bay. The service was unmatched, room was spacious and came with everything we needed, and the views were spectacular. Absolutely coming back next year!

Overall great but with a few disappointments
Hopkins Bay was a very enjoyable 3-star resort! The location is excellent, the staff attentive, and the accommodations comfortable. However, the concierge for Activities was terrible. Our activity dates and times were changed without notice and with little accountability. And our tour guide for the Mayan ruins made no effort to educate us on Mayan history and culture. Two disappointments of an otherwise great getaway.
