the receptionist wasn't sure if we had a reservation. the rooms are nice and clean. There was no access to a kitchen area, I have a baby with me which I need warm water for his bottles. I ask about the kitchen. I was told I have a King room to I have No access to the kitchen, only Queen room has access to the kitchen. which really makes no sense to me. I wish i was more informed about the cost of the rooms and what it comes along with. The service at the Rhum Shack was great. but the welcoming wasnt all that great. nice place but wud go somewhere else. I believe because I was Belizean I didnt get as much explanation as I shud or wanted. And treated like I was begging. I keep saying people just watch you and they dont know who you are. Treat people with total respect as everyone else.

The hotel staff were excellent and the food was good. Our room was comfortable ,quiet and had a lovely sea view. I believe we would stay here again if our travel plans took us back to this area. The management took the time to get to know us and made a point of asking about our stay and offered severaloptions for area trips and adventure excursions.

Our family of five enjoyed every minute in our Villa. We were located very close to the pool and the ocean. All of the grounds were in "top shape" each morning by 7:00 AM. The pool(s) were cleaned; the beach was raked; all the chairs and lounges were cleaned and The sand beach was raked each morning and the staff was efficient and friendly. We highly recommend this resort. We needed and used lots of sunscreen and insect repellent. Visitors should not expect high capacity internet. e-mails, texts etc. were fine; downloads of photos, movies or complex graphics were problematic. much.

Very relaxing place. Love to come here for a relaxing vacation. Come here at least once a year and sometimes a few times more. I always have a hard time to leave. The views are amazing. You have some lush greenery and then the beach and ocean. Love this combination. šŸ˜

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was exactly as advertised and as it appeared in the pictures. The bed was comfortable, the living area and bathroom were very spacious, and the view from the porch was fantastic. We really enjoyed opening up the large sliding glass doors that faced the water to get the breeze and sounds of the ocean. The resort was very well kept-up and had gorgeous views of the water. The Rhum Shack was good, if a bit expensive for the area. The drinks were great, especially the pina colada. The tacos at the Drum Bar were amazing! There really wasn't a ton of activities at the resort itself, though that suited us just fine. We really enjoyed going on excursions and visiting the village. But if you wanted to just stay at the resort the whole time, I'm not sure that this would be the place to do that.
