There's a reason the locals love this place! We met a couple of Beliceans staying here for vacation and enjoying the same great experience as us. The piña colada is to die for, the pool is SO NICE, but the highlights for me were the rooms and the activities we got to do there. Birdwatching in the morning, crab hunting at night, paddleboarding along the beach, even had the best SPA day of my life. Can't wait to be back!

Chloe was a Rockstar first and foremost. We had a Beachfront room, it was awesome. From bed to beach in 20 steps. Food was cool. Only ate on the resort the first of our three night stay. Be sure to get into the village, so much to see, do and experience.

We had a fantastic experience at Hopkins Bay. The staff (particularly Chloe at the front desk, Andrew who helped with our excursion tours, Wilber at the bar, and many more whose names I unfortunately didn’t catch) was so friendly and helpful, especially with our 14-month old. The resort conveniently offers golf cart and bike rentals to explore the town. The food at the Rhum Shack and local restaurants was amazing - definitely try as many of the local dishes as you can. Aside from the Rhum Shack, I’d recommend Ella’s, Driftwood, and J&J’s but we didn’t have a bad meal anywhere. We did the Xunantunich and cave tubing excursions, which were both great and the guides were amazing. They include a bit of a drive but we enjoyed seeing other parts of the country, and Andrew had interesting facts and history to share throughout the trip. I did two days of fly fishing with Kevon from Blue Horizon, which was a ton of fun and he is an awesome dude. The flats and cayes are amazing to see, fishing aside. I was picked up from the dock in front of the resort (waves permitting, otherwise you get picked up at the marina). The beach isn’t pristine, but they do a good job clearing it each morning and the pool is great. This a fantastic place for friends and families looking for a less commercialized and more authentic taste of local culture. We’ll be back!

Absolutely beautiful resort!! Nice and quiet, safe, relaxing and perfect for our family of 6. We rented the whole villa, and were so happy with the huge space! We have 4 teenagers and everyone had their own bed; there's 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The staff was incredible!! Big shout out to the very sweet, kind and helpful Chloe at the front desk!! From the moment of our arrival she made us feel welcomed and continued to be our go to person...however, ALL the staff were incredible!! Michelle in the restaurant was amazing and every morning maintenance checked to make sure we were good and to ask if we needed anything. They all made our stay extra special! We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you very much Hopkins Bay, very memorable and special vacation,; one we will treasure for years to come!! We hope to visit again soon! You have a beautiful property in an amazing village, we've never had a better vacation!
