My wife and I came to the Homestead for the 2025 New Year's Eve Gala. This was our first visit since the completion of the resort restoration. We loved our room and the ambience of the facility is just stunning! Especially the American Audubon Dining Room where the Gala was held. The multi-course meal along with the evening entertainent and dancing was unforgettable.

What a terrible experience at the Omni Homestead. Almost every experience we had was problematic. Waiting 30 min to check in, we finally had to unload and take all our bags to our room. Our reservations were not right on multiple levels each day even with printed confirmation of our detailed reservations. Five straight days of spa appointments were downgraded or cancelled within an hour of each appointment every morning for 5 days in a row. We were overcharged for items and services we never received and the front desk was unwilling to assist. Housekeeping would call early each morning and mwake us up to see if we wanted service that day. We paid for late check out and we were locked out of our room at 11am. Save your self a great frustration and look at the Greenbrier or elsewhere. For spending $10,000 experience in only 5 days this was an appauling experience and the Omni Homestead should be ashamed!

We went to the Omni Homestead for New Year's 2025/2026. The dinner and celebration were top notch and great fun. The rooms left a lot to be desired. We ended up moving rooms three times in two days. The first one had plumbing problems, which apparently the hotel was aware of, and the second one had no heat. I called several times about the heat and it took almost six hours before anyone came up to look at it. They were unable to fic the problem since the HVAC people only work during the day. Both my partner and I developed colds sleeping in the cold room although they did provide space heaters which were noisy. I got maybe three hours sleep. They offered some compensation, considering the cost of the stay our return to the Omni Homestead is unlikely.

We visited the Homestead in December of 2025 to enjoy the Christmas season. The hotel is beautifully decorated for the holidays. The staff was very helpful during check in and checking out. One of our favorite things, is when we eat the breakfast buffet, and get to see our friend Roderick Ottey. He always remembers my family and takes the time to come say hi and talk to my young boys. Our dinner at Jefferson's restaurant was excellent, with great service, and perfectly cooked steaks. Our young boys got to go ice skating, go on the S'mores express, and enjoy the scavenger hunt in the Great Hall! We always love a trip up to the Homestead!

The resort was beautifully decorated for the holidays! We enjoyed the spa, mixology class, shooting range, and all dining venues. The front desk was helpful (especially Kata), and luggage and valet staff were always prompt with service. Additionally a shout out to Don for all he does around the resort. Ramiro Cordova (sous chef) went out of his way to make our dining experience wonderful. Alex kept things running smoothly at mixology class and in the bar. Coffee and tea service in the lobby in the morning was necessary and appreciated during this busy time of year. Thank you to everyone for outstanding service!

It's clear why The Homestead has such wonderful reputation and charm. That is evident when you check in at the front desk, where the whole experience starts. We will be back for many visits to come, and appreciate how well the staff is trained to make guests feel so welcome!

My family and I have been visiting The Homestead since about 1977. Our trip this year was without doubt the best. I believe the hotel grounds and facilities are in the best condition I have ever seen. We look forward to returning soon.

What a relaxing weekend, the stress just melts away as we are treated to the manners of yesterday. Great service.

This is a great place to go for a weekend getaway. Nestled in the mountains of Virginia, the home of Sam Snead, and they served the best trout in the restaurant.

We won an auction for a trip to The Homestead in Hot Springs to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We are just back from our luxury vacation, and it was fabulous. Everyone at the resort was wonderful.

My wife and I spent three wonderful days at The Homestead in Virginia. We enjoyed a beautiful balcony room overlooking the golf course, gourmet meals, a round of golf and even a horse-drawn carriage ride—with champagne—through beautiful forest. The staff was great from the moment we checked in.
