A Low-Key Better Version of the Greenbrier
The Omni is beautiful and fun for kids. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's like a low-key better version of the Greenbrier. I thought the outdoor pool and hot tub near the ice skating rink were amazing for kids. They absolutely loved it. The ski hill and lodge is the most darling little thing I have ever seen.

Great property, service could use a little attention.
We have been to the Homestead many times. The property itself is overall great, pool elevator was out of service, no biggie. Large clean room, but we did have issues with a broken sofa bed that wouldn't lock flat and one instance of no hot water. The restaurants overall appeared to be understaffed on a very busy weekend. Our highlight was lunch at Woody's. Highly encourage the Cascades Gorge hike as an activity. Our guide Brian was so wonderful and engaging. Probably the most fun I have had at this property.

Omni Homestead for my wife's birthday!
Everyone went above and beyond to ensure our stay was superb! I have been before and this time was truly above and beyond my expectations. Everything from the dinner at autobahn to the day at the spa was worth it! They truly went above and beyond to help my wife and I enjoy here birthday present here!

I surprised my husband with a birthday trip to The Homestead in Virginia because it was on his bucket list. WA have been going to the Greenbrier over ten years & wanted to compare them.

It's clear why The Homestead has such wonderful reputation and charm. That is evident when you check in at the front desk, where the whole experience starts. We will be back for many visits to come, and appreciate how well the staff is trained to make guests feel so welcome!

My wife and I spent three wonderful days at The Homestead in Virginia. We enjoyed a beautiful balcony room overlooking the golf course, gourmet meals, a round of golf and even a horse-drawn carriage ride—with champagne—through beautiful forest. The staff was great from the moment we checked in.
