I’ve stayed at both. Choose the homestead. If I could go back in time I would get married here. The staff never dropped their professionalism, the food was incredible, the Christmas ambiance was outstanding and one of my friends (there were 4 girls in our group) said “ It feels like we’re in a Hallmark movie.”

The entire experience was amazing. The staff was so kind, professional, and attentive from the moment we arrived onsite. Our room was beyond what we expected. There was lots of room, comfy robes, and everything immaculate. There are so many experiences to enjoy during your stay, but we took advantage of the serenity garden spa. We were nervous at first since it was so cold outside, but the second you stepped into the warm springs pool you were instantly relaxed. The river walk they have is also amazing. The locked room amenities kept the experience going with several options before having to return to the real world.

My experience was nothing short of amazing. The room was spacious, and cozy and the staff were extremely helpful. They responded extremely quickly to every request, and I was impressed with the services. The food was great, and the service was extra great. Great place for conferences and family vacations.

Extremely disappointed. We were had no choice but the leave the very next day after we checked in due to being lied to about exactly how much they were holding on my card for the room. Completely emptied my checking account. Prices are criminal and absolutely disgustingly high. Not accessible for regular hard working people. Extremely sad and disappointing

It's clear why The Homestead has such wonderful reputation and charm. That is evident when you check in at the front desk, where the whole experience starts. We will be back for many visits to come, and appreciate how well the staff is trained to make guests feel so welcome!

My family and I have been visiting The Homestead since about 1977. Our trip this year was without doubt the best. I believe the hotel grounds and facilities are in the best condition I have ever seen. We look forward to returning soon.

What a relaxing weekend, the stress just melts away as we are treated to the manners of yesterday. Great service.

This is a great place to go for a weekend getaway. Nestled in the mountains of Virginia, the home of Sam Snead, and they served the best trout in the restaurant.

Absolutely beautiful! We love to stay when all of the Christmas decorations are all around. Makes for a very special family holiday.

We won an auction for a trip to The Homestead in Hot Springs to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We are just back from our luxury vacation, and it was fabulous. Everyone at the resort was wonderful.

The hotel could not have been nicer and truly did everything possible to make our stay in November wonderful.

We visited The Homestead in July. It was excellent! The suite was absolutely beautiful and the breakfasts were outstanding.

My wife and I spent three wonderful days at The Homestead in Virginia. We enjoyed a beautiful balcony room overlooking the golf course, gourmet meals, a round of golf and even a horse-drawn carriage ride—with champagne—through beautiful forest. The staff was great from the moment we checked in.
