First off, they are now a "valet only" parking at $28 per day - used to have a self park option, so wonder if that's just a money making scam? Also, the reception desk is the most low key affair EVER - almost like a temporary set up. That said, the staff are v welcoming, the hotel is charming / quirky and the rooms are great, v comfortable beds. Location is very central in the Galleria area and I would stay there again.

My family and I spent 4 nights at this wonderful hotel and loved every minute of it. From the bellmen/valet drivers, to the front desk, to the restaurant staff and cleaning people - they have first class service all the way. We had a 5th floor executive Granduca bedroom suite, which faces the city or the shopping area really. It was a great stay, the room was large and spacious. Tub was deep and the shower head pressure was great. The bathroom amenities smelled great as well. They have a convection/microwave, mini fridge and a dishwasher along with a smooth top stove, so you can cook if you wanted too or reheat food. Ice makers are not on the floors and have to be brought by room service, but housekeeping does a good job of coming by twice a day and making sure everything is in order. Long story medium, it was a great trip. The pool is warmed to 78Ā° and was also nice. Only complaint I have is there are no wall outlets in the closet to use the ironing board. Book this place if you can. The AC was also cold at night. My wife didn't think the bed was super comfortable but I didn't mind it at all. TV's are way too small for 2017 is also another issue we had. Didn't watch much, but still.

As we pulled up we loved the attention to detail with the flowers and service from each person as we checked in. The room was clean and very tastefully appointed. We used the limousine service to go to dinner and visit The Galleria with great service as they dropped us off and then picked us up at a different spot after we walked there. When we return to Houston we will stay here again!

At first I wasn't expecting to like this hotel because they tried to upsell rooms. However, after looking at the superior room, we picked the Deluxe Suite. Despite it's name, this room is really their second level room before you get actual suites. Having said that, the room is large and comfortable. It's also attractive. For an overnight stay the Deluxe room is probably sufficient but for a longer stay, you want the Deluxe suite. When we looked at the Superior room, it was attractive but lacked 2 important things. One was drawers for clothes and the other was a table or desk to us for working on a computer. The superior suite had both. The service at this hotel is impeccable. everyone has been well trained and is waiting to help you. We were there for 6 days and found it to be delightful. The location is good in that you can walk to several restaurants and stores.

This hotel has it all. Beautifully decorated. Fabulous food. Great atmosphere. Extremely clean and comfortable. The afternoon piano was nice treat. I would recommend this property to anyone going to Houston.
