Wonderful weekend getaway
Great location and ambiance. Nice quiet hotel with many great amenities. Comfortable and clean rooms. Wonderful staff all around.

An Oasis in the heart of Houston
The Houstonian has become a destination for our family on long weekends. So much so that when we travel elsewhere my first question is “what’s the Houstonian of [other city]?” The service is 5 star. The rooms are comfortable (our 3 kids are happy in the sofa bed). The club is the draw, though. The pool alone is worth the trip, but then you’d miss out on the spa, the kitchen bar, the hideout for kids, and all the other amenities. All for the price of a hotel room!

Every staff person I encountered was helpful and kind. In today's world, that seems to be less common. I appreciated the hospitality of The Houstonian!

Quick weekend stay
A mix of a wonderful experience coupled with a few areas for improvement. Food/drink excellent. Staff response over all great, but lacking in the pool bar/kitchen and housekeeping areas.

Lovely luxury hotel with a unique atmosphere
We were only here for one night, but we really loved this hotel and the surroundings. Clean rooms with a luxury feel. Restaurant on property at the pool had great food (we had breakfast and dinner there). Staff is friendly and helpful. Loved the walking path around the property. If we are in that vicinity of Houston in the future we absolutely will stay again.
