Think twice before booking rooms for a large group.
Our company will think twice before booking another conference at The Crawford. After the sales team got the confirmation of our team's stay, it was difficult to get additional assistance after our team was checked in the hotel. When we had questions about room rates, the front desk was not willing to contact the sales team to help get it rectified. Front desk staff did not offer to make the call for us; we had to ask for a number. Later toward the end of the stay, we asked for assistance on the possibility of extending the stay. It was quite mess. They simply said they can't give the same group discount. They never offered to tell us what it would cost to stay additional nights or if they even had availability. We called the sales team, main number and individual sales contact we worked with previously and they NEVER returned the phone call. I would not suggest booking large groups at The Crawford. For a bill totaling over $20K, I would expect better customer service. The sales team and front desk staff do not communicate with one another. Their customer service was disappointing for a 5 star hotel.

The hotel and room were great. Access to the Fitness club and facilities was a real treat. The food at our meals were served well and delicious.

Disappointing
Power outage on a normal day (no weather issue), gave me a $35 discount on a $1000 bill for one night + dinner. Pretty disappointing.

I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a unique and elegant experience. I truly enjoyed the experience there.

Houston's best
This is a beautiful hotel with fantastic service. The room was spacious and immaculate and the grounds were so lovely. Great walking paths, excellent food and an overall great experience.
