The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa

Stayed here for my best friend's wedding. One of the nicer hotels I've stayed at. The pools were great and have the walking trail through the property was very nice. Food was good and service was even better absolutely no complaints from me.

This hotel provides a first class experience-from accommodations, to food to the staff. The setting is more a country club feeling with beautiful grounds and peaceful views from the rooms.

The best hotel experience is not an exaggeration. It’s more like a private club than a hotel. It’s very nice to be able to use all the pools and the gym and the private walking path.

A one-night stay in 2016 prompted a return this year & the hospitality was beyond compare. Perhaps because the hotel team responded so warmly to our anniversary, perhaps because the swims were so wonderful that everything seemed fantastic after that. The staff seem to care with sincerity about making guests comfortable. Just one example: due to evening plane arrival, we had to arrange a late meal. Both Tribute and the bar anticipated our preference to dine on the patio, and combined forces to serve a celebratory meal en plein air--- exactly what we'd hoped for! Thank you maitre'd! & the food itself was top notch. Another small example: I mentioned to the front desk that my original Houstonian ballpoint had recently run out of ink, and with that he didn't just offer a new pen, but went into the back to get a brand new one that would again last as long possible. The room was luxurious, but not ostentatious. No resort fee and yet the best pool ever! Our Houston family was delighted by our report.
