Awful embarrasing experience
The hotel head of security is racist and singled me out in front of my coworkers to ask only me, if I had a membership to the pool or if I was a guest. After showing him my room key, he never apologized, went inside to check and never came back to tell me everything was ok. I even asked him why he wasn't asking the other 3 white coworkers of mine for their room number or membership. Awful, embarrassing experience.

The Houstonian is treasure
Always enjoy staying at the Houstonian. It is a true refuge from the "busyness" of the city. The staff is first rate and the food is fantastic. No need to leave the property after you arrive.

Great weekend getaway..
We had a wonderful weekend for my husband birthday. The concierge was very friendly in helping get us to dinner on time, and the hotel was beautiful. Check in was flawless and the bar serves was exceptional.

Amazing Evening at the Houstonian
My wife and I went to the Houstonian again last Saturday night. We have stayed there before, and knew we were in for a wonderful experience. We decided to dine at the Tribute. We both ordered the "Texas Waygu Filet Mignon." It was amazing. Our serve team, especially our waiter, did a fantastic job of making our dinner memorable. The Tribute is highly recommended if you are staying at the Houstonian.

First Time Stay - Highly Recommend - Excellent in Every Way!
We stayed at the Houstonian this past weekend for my nephew's wedding and we would recommend this resort to ANYONE coming to the area if you would like excellent service and attention to detail. EVERYONE was incredibly friendly, helpful and went out of their way to do whatever they could to help you! The pool was perfect, sitting outside The Kitchen restaurant just reading a book during down time was exactly what we needed. All food was perfect and the "gift shop/store" had everything you needed. It's absolutely one of the best resorts in Houston! 5 stars all the way!
