Houstonian Hotel phenomenal
We went for business as well as our 40th anniversary, everyone in the hotel made you feel at home, everyone was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, the grounds were beautiful, rooms were very comfortable, food in the restaurant was excellent. Highly recommend anyone traveling to Houston for business or pleasure to stay at the Houstonian hotel, you will not be disappointed, and if you have time, check out their amazing spa and fitness center.

staycation
This was a nice staycation for us. In room dining and food and service at the Tribute restaurant was awesome.cleaning staff was great too. They come around twice a day . the restaurant in the sports complex called the kitchen had some of the slowest service ever. I wasn't mad or anything but you've been warned. The pool was nice however there was a ton of swim lessons taking place. I did not find that part relaxing. the gym is massive and we wanted to play basketball but did not know you have to reserve in advance so we did not use it. I think if you are into using the gym or into sports then staying here is worth it. if you are a family just looking to chill by the pool, look elsewhere.

Great Hotel!
Excellent location and service. This is truly an outstanding hotel and resort. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the food is delicious.

Spa...YES! Hotel not worth the money.
Exceptional experience at the Spa. The hotel did not live up to cost per night. It is very dated for price. THIS was the most MOST I have spent per night at a hotel but interestingly was NOT the best overnight stay I have had at a hotel. However the service staff was top notch.

Try the Houstonian
An excellent, all-service resort 10-15 minutes from downtown Houston but tucked away in what seems like a forest. The resort has everything you need for your stay - superb workout facility, including a 25-meter pool great for laps, a wonderful restaurant, great rooms and the people at the resort are the kindest around.
