My brief but glorious stay at The Houstonian

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

The hotel , staff , food, you name it, did not disappoint and I travel quite a bit. The serene atmosphere , gorgeous grounds , cozy lobby and overall quality of everything is unmatched in Houston I plan to return in March and will take advantage of the gym and spa. Really spectacular

Beautiful oasis in the heart of a metropolis!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Nothing short of spectacular! We enjoyed every aspect of this amazing oasis in the middle of an 8-million-person city! From the impressive hospitality of guest services (including a treat sent to the room for my birthday) to the great food selections at Tribute and The BAR, to the impeccable grounds and amenities (walking track, fitness center, multiple pools, poolside food service, spa)...we will definitely return next trip to Houston!

Best Hotel Experience Probably Ever

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The entire business, from the hotel, to the gym, the restaurants, the spa, etc. treated my husband and I like royalty. We live in Florida and would visit again simply for the customer service and hospitality. But even so, the food, the location, the rooms, the amenities were 5/5 stars! Stay here. You won't regret it!

Best place to stay in Houston

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Customer service is a priority. I enjoyed the different food options. It’s nice to have heated pools and a whirlpool. The grounds are beautiful and I utilized the walking/jogging trail. The bed and room was perfect. I could have used a microwave, but they probably would have brought me one if I had asked.

Awful embarrasing experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

The hotel head of security is racist and singled me out in front of my coworkers to ask only me, if I had a membership to the pool or if I was a guest. After showing him my room key, he never apologized, went inside to check and never came back to tell me everything was ok. I even asked him why he wasn't asking the other 3 white coworkers of mine for their room number or membership. Awful, embarrassing experience.
