hotel Zaza in the heart of Houston's museum district is part art gallery and part uber luxury hotel with great views, comfortable beds and enough art to soothe and excite your nerves in equal parts. Soft pillows, excellent air conditioning and a good restaurant is the hall mark of this property. An efficient and gracious front house staff make you feel welcome and are on hand for advise on which are the must see museums in the area.

We stayed here for a weekend to attend a wedding. This hotel has an excellent location in the museum district close to Herman Park, various museums, Rice University and Medical hospitals. The hotel staff was very nice. Breakfast was very good. This hotel has no self parking; so you are totally dependent on the Valet Service. That can be a problem on busy nights like Friday or Saturday, when there can be long lines to get your car. They do have a shuttle service; but so do many hotels in downtown Houston. The lobby is dark and not very spacious ; especially when you have many functions like a wedding or a party. The room was good but again on the small side compared to many modern hotels. We appreciated the nice coffee service in the morning near the elevator on each floor. The shower doors do not shut tight; with water coming out in spite of many precautions. It is a great hotel if you care for older, boutique hotels but not if you want spacious, airy, bright lobby, a good size room and self parking. Many of our friends stayed at nearby hotels for a better value.

Worth the money! The rooms were nice and the service was great. The rooftop pool and bar is an extra treat. You won’t be disappointed. Also went to two weddings here and they were over the top amazing.

My new husband and I were BEYOND Spoiled by Hotel Zaza Houston! We didn't want to go too far after our wedding and Zaza is our favorite hotel downtown so we decided to book an average size suite for a couple days. As soon as we got out of our car to check in we were treated with the utmost respect! The entire staff was very helpful, giving and polite. At check in we were greeted by Mariana who we mentioned our family friends stayed in the Rock Star suite and we just were curious if we could take a peek! Well she was so generous took us up to the suite then I guess saw how excited we were to see it that that night emailed us for a upgrade to the Rock Star Suite at the same price as the room we were staying in originally! Of course we flipped with joy and excitement even more so.. The next couple mornings we went to breakfast and Jaime was our server, now I can go on and on about how giving and friendly he was as well as the ENTIRE STAFF! Just outstanding... We went to the Monarch Bar that night and the bar staff new us by first name basis and Anastasia was warm and inviting, creating nice conversation and advice. Next we had couples massages which was one of the best spa experiences we've ever had, our girls were AMAZING! After that we went to the front desk to be greeted by Katherine, we spoke to her about possible restaurants to go out to that evening. She took it upon herself to make our reservations and schedule the complimentary shuttle to take and drop us off. It really felt like we were Rock Stars and we certainly got the ROYAL treatment! Highly recommend Hotel Zaza Houston and we will defiantly be back VERY SOON! <3

I have been in this hotel a while ago and I have kept avery good impression. The hotel is still nice (with very beautiful room) but I have found that people at the desk were not really efficient and that the room was not so clean. Zaza remains however one of the best located hotel in Houston. Try to avoid rooms that are on Main street as a little bit noisy.
