My husband and I, in Houston for a wedding, stayed 4 nights at the Zaza as part of the wedding block rooms. The block rate was very reasonable. We were able to get a 2 double bed with balcony room. having the balcony was key. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The room was clean. The location is good, if you want to visit the Fine arts Museum (which is very extensive). We Ubered and took advantage of the Magic Carpet shuttle offered by the hotel (which will take you in a 3-mile radius. That worked for us as the wedding events were walkable or within shuttle distance. Rice Village and the Montrose neighborhood are also within the shuttle radius. There is not really much by the way of food around except for the hotel restaurant. There is coffee, tea and apples available on each floor of the hotel for a few hours at breakfast. Bananas and granola bars would be a nice addition given there is nothing around for a quick inexpensive breakfast. I didn't use the fitness room. The weather was ideal, so I ended up going running outside through the nearby neighborhood of gorgeous houses and through Rice University. Hermann Park just to the south of the hotel is beautiful, with a Japanese garden (free), paddle boats, and a zoo (fee for that). I'm sure there is more -- we didn't walk the entire park. While we only saw a small sliver of Houston, I have a feeling we saw the best of the city.

Austin C provided the best service of my entire trip to Texas. Amazing man. Brought me things I wanted before I even knew I wanted them. It was more than great service. He made our experience unforgettable. It's the little things. We won't forget that man ever. A++ for a super high quality man who does in deed "Got me"

Had another wonderful staycation at Zaza. Our daughter scheduled a wedding venue tour at Zaza so we last minute decided to get there a day ahead and enjoy a nice quiet date night at the Zaza. Daisy Lopez always goes above and beyond to make all our stays incredibly memorable. For that, we are very grateful and will always return to the Zaza. Check in was seamless as she has pre-checked us in. The room was so beautiful and everyone we interacted with was helpful and provided outstanding service. We had dinner at Monarch and Jose was a joy to catch up with. Room service in the morning was quick and delivered with a cheery smile. We had a wonderful tour with the event coordinator. They made us feel very welcomes and answered all my daughter’s questions. We hope she picks the Zaza so we can continue with the memories. See you again soon, Zaza! We love you too!

This is my first trip to Houston, for my friend’s wedding, and even for just a weekend, Zaza was the perfect place to be. I was greeted upon check-in by Jessica, who made everything a breeze. She made great suggestions and gave me the lay of the land. As a solo traveler, I felt right at home. The museum district is really the center of it all, and on top of that, they have a “magic carpet” shuttle service that took me to all my nearby scheduled wedding events. I highly recommend to out of towners! And special shout out to Jessica, Stephanie (driver), and the all the other chauffeurs and bellmen that made this trip spectacular!!!

As a wedding coordinator, I have the opportunity to work with many venues, and Hotel Zaza truly stands out as one of the most exceptional locations for a wedding celebration. From start to finish, their team delivered an outstanding experience for both the couple and all of the vendors involved. Audrina, and the staff at Hotel Zaza, is professional, organized, and incredibly attentive. She communicated clearly throughout the planning process, responded quickly to any questions, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The venue itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained spaces for both the ceremony and reception. I truly appreciate how accommodating and collaborative the staff was. I highly recommend Hotel Zaza to any couple looking for a gorgeous venue with a dedicated and thoughtful team. I look forward to working with them again in the future!
