From the initial valet experience to the professional checkout, our stay at Hotel Za Za Museum District was excellent! Ms. Mel and her staff were sure to attend to every detail to ensure our stay was the best. Everyone we encountered provided us service with a smile and were so helpful. Once they noted that we were there for a celebration, they helped to recommend local eateries, and their complimentary driving service took us to dinner and picked us up, which was so convenient and kind. Also, when we arrived back to our room, they had gifted us with special amenities to ensure that our evening was special. Not only is the service suburb, the hotel itself is beautiful! We visited around the holidays so they already had up their Christmas decor and were hosting several holiday events which made for just a magical ambience. Also, our suite was beautiful with wonderful views from each window. We are already looking forward to the next time we can visit!

We had the most wonderful late lunch and were served by Milton. The service was impeccable and with such kindness from Milton. The cheeseburgers were delicious. The aoili sauce on my special one was delightful!

As always ZaZa goes above and beyond! It’s starting to get busy for the Christmas Season. They handled the glow seamlessly. It’s wonderful to see such professionalism these days. Sharron at the front text was especially helpful.

My husband and I, in Houston for a wedding, stayed 4 nights at the Zaza as part of the wedding block rooms. The block rate was very reasonable. We were able to get a 2 double bed with balcony room. having the balcony was key. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The room was clean. The location is good, if you want to visit the Fine arts Museum (which is very extensive). We Ubered and took advantage of the Magic Carpet shuttle offered by the hotel (which will take you in a 3-mile radius. That worked for us as the wedding events were walkable or within shuttle distance. Rice Village and the Montrose neighborhood are also within the shuttle radius. There is not really much by the way of food around except for the hotel restaurant. There is coffee, tea and apples available on each floor of the hotel for a few hours at breakfast. Bananas and granola bars would be a nice addition given there is nothing around for a quick inexpensive breakfast. I didn't use the fitness room. The weather was ideal, so I ended up going running outside through the nearby neighborhood of gorgeous houses and through Rice University. Hermann Park just to the south of the hotel is beautiful, with a Japanese garden (free), paddle boats, and a zoo (fee for that). I'm sure there is more -- we didn't walk the entire park. While we only saw a small sliver of Houston, I have a feeling we saw the best of the city.
