Great location, nice staff, the room is comfortable.

This was a repeat visit for us and we were welcomed back like family. Nothing was too much trouble and everyday smiled. Joey the guest liaison manager is awesome and always available for customers needs. The manager Paul is regularly seen and pops over for a chat. So many great people from the bar staff to the breakfast/ meal servers . At this time of year the resort is a peaceful oasis, the rooms very spacious and a lovely o ran view bar for 2 happy hours in the evening. I could go on forever with praising the staff here .

Excellent experience and service

Near Hua Hin airport and only 10 minutes from main town. Resort provides a shuttle. Pleasant surroundings and generally quiet. We stayed in a room with a pool. Also has lounge and ensuite bathroom. (Don't have to mix it with the kids in the pool) Staff all round are very friendly and helpful. Always checking that you are happy. Food at breakfast is great and plenty of choices. They change some items every day. Also used as a restaurant at night and again, excellent food and service. Baan Dum Beachfront restaurant is a quite please to relax and serves excellent seafood. Bar on the beach is the best of all. Great cocktails while watching the sun set. Found value money and well prices. Highly recommend for couples and families.

Rooms were clean, not spacious, but had the basic boxes ticked. But that is any hotel's duty. Nothing extraordinary. For the price we paid, certainly not the best choice as its really off location, does not have many vegetarian options on the menu and rooms are basic. Found certain fundamental things off like pool filter switch was broken, called someone to repair, and again switch broke. Also, the pool area did not have much lighting on one side, so they hung a bulb with a holder dangling with naked wires hanging from an iron structure which was makeshift at best. Certainly not expected from a room we paid so much for. We took an upgrade from private pool villa to a 2 bedroom pool villa, but the pool was smaller, the rooms were smaller and cupboard space to keep clothes was absent. So the upgrade actually felt like a downgrade. For the price Movenpick Asara charged us, absolutely not worth it.
