As expected for 5* Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 18 hours ago

Previous reviews on Trip Advisor guided me to choose this hotel. 5* was important to me, as was location and amenities. Distance into central LA is significant, ranging from 45-75 minutes in our car, but the journey is virtually all Freeway and fast. Distance to LAX airport is 40 minutes roughly, so not too bad if you've hired a car. Room and Hotel are clean, tidy and fault-free. Large and spacious accomodation and hallways make for a nice experience. Hotel size is vast, taking up a huge area around Huntington Beach. The bridge to the Beach is convenient and the beach itself is nice and welcoming. Not the cheapest Hotel around, but you do get what you pay for ultimately. Would stay again for sure.

It wasn’t too most and May but it was just right interms of busy and peaceful. I love how there are Multiple pools and different areas to hang out and have an s’mores bonfire. Amazing hotel right across from the beach and dogs are allowed. Everything is clean and great quality!

Fabulous! Just, Fabulous!

This hotel resort is truly one of the best I've ever stayed in! From start to finish, everything was almost perfect. We were warmly greeted by valet workers and the check-in staff. The baggage handler was especially delightful as he escorted us to our stunning, spacious King room with an ocean view. The room was incredibly spacious, almost like a dance floor! It was beautifully appointed, and the bathroom featuring double sinks was a big plus for us. The view of the Pacific Ocean and Huntington beachfront from our room was breathtaking. Although our weekend was busy, we unfortunately didn't have time to enjoy the spa, the adult hot tubs (there were multiple tubs!), fitness gym, or the family swimming pool. The property itself was simply stunning. From the main water fountain at the hotel entrance to the serene Koi fish pond and garden, the overall decor was impeccable. The property was meticulously maintained. Note: the property is quite large, so expect to get your steps in while exploring. We managed to have breakfast at the Watertable restaurant, and I have to say, I HIGHLY recommend the SoCa dish! It's a cornbread waffle topped with fried chicken, maple slaw, poached eggs, and jalapeño bacon hollandaise. When I first read the ingredients, I thought it might be too heavy for breakfast, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was absolutely delicious, and I've been raving about it since we left the resort. I could go on and on about this place, but I'll just say this: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this resort hotel, and I'm already looking forward to staying here again the next time I'm in Southern California.
