Kimpton Shorebreak Hotel

First time at Shorebreak HB over the weekend, and it was great. The location was very convenient to the pier, beach, restaurants, and outdoor shopping area. The upgraded room was great, and the bed was very comfy. I enjoyed the little touch like the vinyl record player! Carly and Jessica at the front desk were super professional and answered all the hotel and HB questions.

One of my favorite Kimpton hotels, customer service is fantastic, great property and vibes. Very well maintained as well. Jordan at the front desk was very helpful every time.

Absolutely amazing experience. The customer service is truly top-notch, the rooms are comfortable and beautifully maintained, and it’s the little thoughtful touches that really set this place apart. From hot cocoa in the winter to complimentary bikes, plus dog toys and treats for furry guests, they’ve thought of everything. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. Highly recommend.

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway to celebrate my birthday. This was the first time and definitely not the last time staying at Kimpton Shorebrake, and it was amazing! The hotel is right across from the beach! The hotel offers a retro chic ambiance with great amenities. Jackson was very attentive and even gifted me a bottle of wine for my birthday. Jackie, the property manager, was very friendly and made us feel right at home. I'm looking forward to our next stay at the Shorebreak!

After a painful surgery, I booked a two-bedroom room at Kimpton Shorebreak so I’d have a comfortable place to rest and recover, while allowing my family to stay with me, enjoy themselves, and be close by if I needed help. It turned out to be the perfect choice. From the moment I arrived, the experience felt effortless, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. The room was beautiful and generously sized, with sweeping ocean views and a large balcony that was perfect for watching the sunset. I chose this hotel specifically as a quiet, comfortable place to heal, and I honestly can’t imagine a better setting. Waking up to ocean views each morning brought a sense of calm and perspective throughout my recovery. The atmosphere was restorative in the truest sense, and I loved it so much that I extended my stay by an entire week. This is one of the few hotels I’ve stayed at that is truly pet-friendly. I brought my dog along as a recovery companion, and it was clear she enjoyed her stay just as much, if not more, than my family and I. Kimpton Shorebreak exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to returning when I can fully enjoy all the amenities. While Huntington Beach is well known for its summer energy, visiting in the winter felt like a hidden gem and is absolutely worth adding to your travel bucket list.
