Kimpton Shorebreak Hotel

We had an absolutely fabulous time at the Kimpton Shorebreak Hotel. We booked for a 3 day visit and it was so great that we extended our trip another 2 days, something we've never done before. Everything was great. We loved our room, which was a King Suite. The food in the restaurant was way better than normal Hotel food. It was healthy and delicious, and created with imagination. It was clear that it was managed by a very talented chef. The Hotel is centrally located, very near the Pier and Main Street. We parked our car with the Valet, which was very efficient. The vibe in the Hotel is nonstop fun from the ping pong table to the foosball to the scooters for kids, with bikes and surfboards available. There was also a record collection in the lobby, which allowed you to take records to your room and play them on the record player in your room. Best of all was the staff. Jackson at the front desk went out of his way to help us each day, including guiding us to choose a great room. His exceptionally positive attitude made a real difference in our stay. Other outstanding team members included Anna at the front desk and Destiny and Victor in the restaurant. After such a delightful stay, we are certain to return!

The “Beach meets Tahoe” vibe creates a laid back, friendly atmosphere. Especially during social hour where everyone comes together, shares free drinks and delicious appetizers. The rooms are clean and spacious. Bed and pillows are super comfy and I have to mention the chair in the room is too!The record player adds a nostalgic touch, and the room is decorated with thoughtful details, including a mini cooler as an ice bucket. The staff, especially Carly and Bradley, are warm, approachable, informative and go the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Thank you so much!

Kimpton Shorebreak Huntington Beach absolutely nailed it. Jackson and Carly are next-level hosts. From a seamless arrival to a room with a view (check), this stay stacked the wins fast. Food and beverage went well beyond expectations (big check), and that Kimpton wine hour? Elevated. Local wine, beer on tap, Jarritos for the kids, plus games that actually keep them entertained. Thoughtful, fun, and genuinely welcoming. When you stay with IHG, the perks add up, and this stay culminated in a near-perfect experience. Say less. Let’s rebook. We’ll be back soon.

Our stay at Kimpton Shorebreak Huntington Beach was great. Amazing location, amenities, and staff! A+ for Bradley at the front desk, he was amazing, friendly, and very knowledgeable of the area.

Stayed for the weekend and had dinner at pacific Hideaway to celebrate My friend's birthday. Our server Lauren was very friendly and Daniel the bartender made excellent drinks. Will come back!
