Kimpton Shorebreak Hotel

I travel a lot...all over the world! Most often I am prepared to be slightly disappointed by a hotel, frequently falling short in one way or another, but my one night stay at the Shorebreak was a delight! I am a very light sleeper and when I shared that information - they took it seriously and placed me in a room that was as quiet as can be...The room itself was clean and had all amenities I could ask for (except for coffee, which you have to ask for...). Mini-bar, good snacks, turntable, yoga mat, robe, and CLEAN! The evening happy hour was just perfect too and the 'ski area' - s-mores, fondue, and whatnot, looked so fun and cozy (I was alone and did not indulge). I was there on a Tuesday night which is when HB has their night market...While delightful with lots of food options, I opted to pick up blackened Mahi Mahi tacos from the hotel restaurant...they were absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Of course, I did luck out with great waves being surfed, volleyball, music and all the quintessential things that make a day visiting HB wonderful... One tip....There is free parking on the street in a variety of places a couple of short blocks away...The valet station is available however, when not parking your car they do not bother or engage you as you come and go. Thank you for a wonderful stay - I hope to come back!

Really fun beach themed hotel with comfortable rooms and fun activities. The staff is excellent and friendly. Highly recommended!

An amazing property with an even more impressive staff. Carly is an archetype of efficiency, and there is no problem that Jessica cannot solve. The restaurant is top shelf. Come for the beach, and be prepared to feel completely at home.

The Shorebreak has been one of the best places I've stayed at. The rooms feel like im at home and not at a hotel. But aside from the the location the only thing better is the staff. Especially, Carly, Anna, Jessica and Kel. They've been nothing but caring, while maintaining elite professionalism. Everytime I need anything, they make it happen. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

This hotel is FABULOUS! We traveled with a family of 4 (two boys ages 13 and 15) plus another family for Spring Break. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The place is super cool, great vibes, open air with foosball table, corn hole, climbing wall, table tennis, cool outdoor space to sit by the fire or just get some sun. The vibe is Back to the Beach but upscale. We had a record player in our room and could checkout various vinyl records for free. Free wine from 5-6, free smore's for the kids from 6-8, great gym, super friendly staff, across the street from the beach, free beach chairs to take to the beach. We rode the free beach cruisers around the area and hung out at a park with the kids. I took the free yoga class on Sun morning on the patio from a great instructor. This place has so many personal little touches that elevate it from so many other hotels.
