Reviews for Adriana, Hvar Spa Hotel

Great hotel!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

A lovely hotel in the centre of Hvar. Steps to everything. Good food, service and amenities. A beautiful spa area (which we didn’t take advantage of). Dinner there once and breakfast twice. Great service from a previous cruise boat employee (Nevis, sp?). Very attentive, helpful and friendly. All staff were very congenial and good in their respective roles.

Loved Adriana Hotel

Upon arrival, there was someone to pick up our luggage (but we missed them!). We got there and the staff was super friendly. We even got a free upgrade to a much larger room. The staff was very friendly. The concierge was awesome and gave both recommendations for day activities and restaurants. You have a fantastic view from the hotel, a very nice bar up top, and the indoor pool is beautiful. Will definitely stay there again when we go back to Hvar.

Stay elsewhere

The room originally given to us was the size of a postage stamp (unreal at the price we were charged). After complaining, we were moved to a better room for an upcharge. The TV didn't work. The maintenance person replaced the TV 3 times until he found one that worked. The A/C in the room didn't work. Had to have another maintenance man in to take care if that. The water from the shower went everywhere. Tried to take a relaxing jacuzzi that was in the room but guess what. You got it. That didn't work either after filling the tub. Even better, couldn't figure out how to drain the water out until the next day when a member of the cleaning staff told us you need to use a butter knife to pry the drain open. The wait staff at breakfast were untrained and not the most friendly. All in all not good for a Hotel that is supposedly rated 4 stars.

Two lovers, one city, a fabulous hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

In the beginning of Much Ado About nothing the lead protagonist Sebastian remarks that fair Verona is the most glorious city east of the Danube. Clearly Sebastian/ Viola had not visited the Adriana Spa Hotel, Hvar as children. Our stay at the Adriana (joking aside) was wonderful. From the moment of arrival it was evident that the staff were attentive, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in making our stay a success. The room was spotlessly clean, very functional and had a nice view of the harbour and fortress (my partner is a history buff!). Breakfast was as good as you ll see in the buffet format - honourable mention to the cooked offering. But no review of the Adriana would be complete without singling out the spa and pool. Crikey that’s a good aquatic facility- genuinely a class act and a real joy to come home to after a long day. My partner is also a fitness nut - when he is not reading historical fiction- and he said the gym facilities were very good for some light holiday work outs. All in all would recommend to anyone. P.S. Tommo who took our bags on day one and offered some great local insights was a delight (even if he is a Spurs fan😉). Will be back for more. X

Best Hotel in Hvar!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

We adored this hotel! Stayed for our honeymoon in October in the terrace suite. The service is great - they met us at the ferry and brought our luggage to the hotel, and we were greeted with a glass of champagne. The rooms are uniquely decorated and very clean. Breakfast is a great spread! The views of Hvar harbor and the city are beautiful! Can't say enough great things
