In the beginning of Much Ado About nothing the lead protagonist Sebastian remarks that fair Verona is the most glorious city east of the Danube. Clearly Sebastian/ Viola had not visited the Adriana Spa Hotel, Hvar as children. Our stay at the Adriana (joking aside) was wonderful. From the moment of arrival it was evident that the staff were attentive, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in making our stay a success. The room was spotlessly clean, very functional and had a nice view of the harbour and fortress (my partner is a history buff!). Breakfast was as good as you ll see in the buffet format - honourable mention to the cooked offering. But no review of the Adriana would be complete without singling out the spa and pool. Crikey that’s a good aquatic facility- genuinely a class act and a real joy to come home to after a long day. My partner is also a fitness nut - when he is not reading historical fiction- and he said the gym facilities were very good for some light holiday work outs. All in all would recommend to anyone. P.S. Tommo who took our bags on day one and offered some great local insights was a delight (even if he is a Spurs fan😉). Will be back for more. X

We adored this hotel! Stayed for our honeymoon in October in the terrace suite. The service is great - they met us at the ferry and brought our luggage to the hotel, and we were greeted with a glass of champagne. The rooms are uniquely decorated and very clean. Breakfast is a great spread! The views of Hvar harbor and the city are beautiful! Can't say enough great things

We arrived at the Adriana after driving from Stari Grad where we arrived on the car ferry. Hotel staff greeted us at the parking lot off from the harbor. We and our luggage (total carry on!) were quickly transported to the front desk. Staff was wonderful. Dinner that arrival evening was at the hotel restaurant, with very professional staff. Our room overlooked the harbor. My wife is a sailor and the front desk arranged a day sail (wonderful skipper) and it all went on our hotel tab. It was easy and relaxing. The hotel rooftop bar is great, but we chose to go to the Tommy market, buy a bottle of Bombay Saphire, and enjoy a cocktail on the hotel deck while watching the people pass by. It’s a wonderful location and the stay was great!

Just spent 3 wonderful nights at the Adriana Hotel. What an amazing location, only minutes walk around the harbour from the ferry. The hotel concierge collect your luggage on your arrival so you can make the short walk to the hotel. We had a room at the front and saw the sunrise every morning, how lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, amazing views from the rooftop bar, the indoor pool was great we were the only guests in it on 2 occasions. We also had a fantastic massage in the spa, Petra was so professional. Hvar is a lovely island, well worth a visit.

Ate at the Buffett 2 days in a row, was absolutely fantastic and would highly recommend! The location is perfect, close to the port and just a few steps away from the pickup to excursions. The hotel was clean and pristine, and the staff was super friendly.
