Reviews for Aguas de Ibiza

Wonderful stay in this first class hotel.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Superb hotel. All the staff we met throughout were really friendly and helpful, reception, porters, housekeeping, restaurants and bars. We felt welcome at all times. The standard of cleanliness throughout is very good. The facilities are excellent, particularly the gym and exceptional spa, probably the best we’ve ever seen. Outside pool and gardens are a great place to relax and the roof top bar area, plus pools, are another wonderful place to relax and enjoy. The hotel surpassed our expectations and we will return.

Average hotel, but would not recommend for couples.

The hotel is well situated and the rooms are nice with harbour views and a lovely pool area. The service desk was open 24 hours and very helpful and kind. That being said, it wasn’t a five star experience. We had to request our room was cleaned on a number of occasions and the service at breakfast was not good. There is an odd smell throughout the spa area. It’s very family friendly with lots of children but as a couple travelling i wouldn’t recommend.

DANGEROUS POOL AREA

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 months ago

DANGEROUS POOL AREA PARENTS BE VERY CAREFUL! We travelled to this hotel via Jet2 Indulgent Escapes. We booked this 5 start hotel for us and our two young children aged 5 and 8. Briefly this is NOT a 5 star hotel. We travel extensively and this is a 4 star at best. We were happy to overlook this as it was a few days in the sun however our Son had a horrendous accident at the hotel pool. The decking around the pool area is rotten. My Sons foot fell through the rotten wood and he fell face first into the water. There was no life guard. I was nearby and got him out as he was trapped with his foot stuck in the wooden decking which had given way. He could have drowned or broken his leg! We demanded to see a manager. No one came. I went to the reception to ask for a manager we were told someone would be out to see us. No one came. No first aid or reports taken. no one came We wanted the area closed of so another child would not have the same accident. It remained open. Dangerous pool area are they waiting for a child to be seriously hurt?

Very good

A larger hotel than we would normally go for but was pleasnantly surprised by the general welcoming feel of the place for the size. Pool areas are really good, there were those up super early to nab the sun beds! There isn't a bad location however on the ground level patio. Also a roof top area with loungers and general seating. The kid's pool is on the lower ground level with a large grassy area for them to run around and there is I believe a kid's club. The room was lovely, spacious, very clean. We were a late booking so had a junior suite with a sea view. Largely more of a marina yard view, but interesting all the same! We didn't try the restaurants. I know it's a luxury hotel, however the only complaint I had was the Eur 5.50 for half a litre of water poolside. We ended up getting supplies at the local grocer and we weren't the only ones to feel aggreived at the high light lunch and drinks prices throughout the week. This however is a minor point on reflection on the overall experience. Breakfast was really very good, buffet and hot selection cooked to order (pancakes were v good), plenty of choice and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, as were all of the staff across the hotel. It's a great base for exploring the coast, and a 10 minute walk into the main part of the town with the bars and eateries. Would definitely stay again, and would maybe visit the restaurant for a special occasion but plenty of choice in the town itself.

Very Enjoyable Stay

My wife and I just returned from a very enjoyable 5 day holiday, the hotel is very well run with helpful staff. Breakfasts were excellent, fantastic choice from the buffet and the menu, personally we found the service good, however some did say it was slow. The main pool area was excellent with good sunbeds and towels, service was a bit hit and miss. We loved the roof top bar in the late afternoon to watch the sunset and listen to some great music. We stayed in room 426, Premier room with a bay view, the location and view from the room was fantastic, the problem is the layout of the room. The room has been designed so you can lay in bed and see the marina, which is lovely but no thought has been given to how this would affect the rest of the room. The sinks became almost un-usable and the AC wasn't great as one vent was blocked. We would certainly return but would ask not to be placed in room 426.
