We had a wonderful stay at the Belmond. It has a perfect location inside the National Park which allows longer access to the falls. I am in a wheelchair and there is a wheelchair accessible room which was appropriate. The path to get to the restaurant is cobbled, so my husband assisted me to get there. There is a ramp to the viewing platform across the road from the hotel but there is steps along the walkway to the lift. We used the road to walk to the lift or the buses (most are wheelchair accessible). We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and chose the buffet for dinner as well. My husband is vegetarian and it is a grill, but there was still a number of vegetarian options. The charge was less as he is vegetarian. There is free wi-fi in the room and we loved the Havianas in place of slippers!

I normally do not write reviews but the service by Rodrigo was OUTSTANDING. He was on top of everything and quite knowledgeable. Would recommend if you eat at the bar ask for Rodrigo. Excellent place to stay while visiting the falls because of the location and also you have access to the falls before and after park closes.

Great location. Direct view to the falls from the entrance and some rooms. We did ask for a extra bed for our daughter, which was no problem (at additional cost). Pool was great for a dip between tours. The exclusive tour in the morning is a must, early as 8, but great with nearly no visitors as the park only openes at 9. Explenation were good as well. Spa was good too. We had lunch at the pool and dinner in the nice Restaurant. As it is dark at 18.00, no need to ask for a window table, as there is no view :-)

A great way to avoid the crowds to view the falls. Walk to the viewing platforms right in front of this beautiful hotel before the buses arrive! While our garden room did not have a direct view of the falls we were only minutes away. It was a very comfortable twin room with lots of space and accompanying facilities and quality toiletries. All our meals had variety and quantity and were beautifully displayed. We had lunch by the pool and you need to be careful of the bees and the coatis (raccoon like animals) which like to steal your food. White wine was on the expensive side which we found all around Brazil. Highly recommended and would have loved another night!

Definitely the best place to stay if you are going there just to visit the falls and enjoy nature!! The hotel is inside the park, in front of the falls with a wonderful view of them. You have free access to the trails and can visit the falls before the busy hours when the tourist buses arrive. The hotel is beautiful with excellent structure: good restaurants, pool and spa. The staff is very well trained, polite and attentious. We had a lovely weekend there, very relaxing!!
