Surrounded by lush rainforest, this pastel-pink hideaway grants exclusive access to the park—minus the crowds. Seeing the falls in near solitude is magical, but we offer more than just a great location. Step through our doors into a world of understated luxury. Soak up the jungle chorus while you float in the pool, stroll gardens bejewelled with orchids and sip caipirinhas as the sun goes down. Embark on the ultimate adventure at South America's first and only Forbes Five Star hotel, and you’ll never want to leave.

Fantastic experience from start to finish, I really find it hard to understand how this can fall into any negative reviews. Staff are exceptional and the location and sights/ things to experience are on your doorstep are simply incredible. We had the most wonderful time and cannot express enough that you just need to visit. You will not be disappointed 🤩 Thank you all at Belmond for making our holiday such an unforgettable time.

Unique location with exclusive benefits such as sunset over the falls. Service is very good but advocate for your expectations starting before your arrival to make the most of your stay.

Had a fantastic stay definitely worth it to visit Brazil side of Iguazu Falls. Hotel guests are allowed access prior to the park opening to the public so you get to visit with less people - we were only ones at sunset! From arranging trips to serving meals staff were attentive and the entire stay was 5*. If you can afford it I would thoroughly recommend staying at this magnificent hotel.

The only hotel within the national park, the biggest advantage is you can visit the falls without the crowds (expect some days where the park opens to public very early, e.g. Wednesday and Saturday). And the location, the falls is really magic. I went there several times and every time I was astonished about the beauty. They offer many experiences. One experience they offer is the full moon tour, which was such a unique experience. Definitely a must see. When it comes to hotel services, please note the hotel is quite big and very busy, so not very relaxing. At front desk, there are always many people and it is very loud, and you also need to wait some time until you get served. at the pool it is is very crowded, and breakfast is like a supermarket… not very exclusive. The service is very limited. Also the quality of the food at breakfast is far below expectations. Some parts are nice, first of all the hotel is old and has a lot of history and tradition, nice furniture etc, which I really like. the bar is nice and also the staff there are nice. Also the fine dining restaurant is good with good food and good service. I also appreciate that the managers took good care of me during my stay. Some staff members are really nice and attentive. Conclusion: an experience you need to do once in your life, however don’t expect too much as you might be disappointed.

We stayed at Hotel Cataratas at the end of our 17 days in Brazil. A perfect ending. Our room was charming and comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel neglected to make arrangements for our transport from the airport (which was included in our LL package), but they made up for the error many times over during our stay, including a complementary guide when we visited the Iguassu Falls on the Argentina side. The location of the hotel also provides access to the viewing trails for the falls during hours when the park is closed to other tourist. A real bonus that is not available to those staying in the hotel in the Argentinian park. Next time I stay at Hotel Cataratas I'll coordinate my trip with a full moon!
