Great stay at a Classic Iguacu fall’s lodge!
Great stay at this classic Iguacu falls lodge. The professionalism shown by all employees is fantastic! Love the included minbar and the Havianas sandals! I only wish that they had additional, more casual food availability for dinner other than the bar. Maybe I missed something - but it seemed that it was either a Michelin star prix fixe or the bar as a choice for dinner. Bring your own raincoat for the walk to Devils throat and save the environment! Thank you again for a great stay!

The hotel was beautiful, well maintained and has great amenities. The location inside the park is totally worth the price. The service was excellent and when one of the added on experiences didn’t meet our expectations, the hotel took care of it.

Next to the Falls
The hotel is inside the park, so we could walk to the falls in the morning and evening without other tourists, which is a great advantage. The room was large, clean, well equipped, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was fabulous, outside next to the pool. We also enjoyed the restaurant there. Service was excellent. The hotel is not cheap, but really special and luxurious, we thought it was well worth it. The main improvement opportunity is the concierge service. We booked a couple of tours and pick up from the airport. Communication before our arrival was cumbersome and on one of our tours they forgot to order our food, so we had to wait almost an hour before we could start.

We stayed at Hotel Cataratas at the end of our 17 days in Brazil. A perfect ending. Our room was charming and comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel neglected to make arrangements for our transport from the airport (which was included in our LL package), but they made up for the error many times over during our stay, including a complementary guide when we visited the Iguassu Falls on the Argentina side. The location of the hotel also provides access to the viewing trails for the falls during hours when the park is closed to other tourist. A real bonus that is not available to those staying in the hotel in the Argentinian park. Next time I stay at Hotel Cataratas I'll coordinate my trip with a full moon!
