This Hotel is one of the best I've ever had the privilege of visiting. Celebrating our Anniversary over three nights between business engagements, we were welcomed by Alberto, a true gentleman, who arranged a room upgrade with the manager for our stay. I can only describe the view of Iguassu Falls from our room as breathtaking. The Hotel is the only establishment located inside the National Park, and on the Brazilian side, offering superior views. All of the over Two Miles of Falls are within walking distance of the Hotel, making it unnecessary to book expensive and crowded tour busses. The Hotel itself is a piece of art, graceful and well appointed reception areas, elegant restaurants, well kept gardens, traditional architectural features with turrets offering sweeping views. While our room was not large, it was extremely comfortable, excellent bath facilities and great views. The in house breakfasts offer an incredible array of choices in an indoor or outdoor setting. All service staff were friendly and excellent. Special thank to Caesar for looking after us. It pays to shop around for the best price from online marketers, as this a premium establishment. What this Hotel offers is a unique experience, prime location, comfy rooms and excellent service. You will not be disappointed!

Thank you very much for such a wonderful experience. Can't beat the exclusive access to the park. I was able to capture amazing shots without the crowd in the background. The hotel staff are amazing. The hotel offers shuttle service every hour.

The setting for this gorgeous hotel in a unique position within a National Park is stunning, with service and facilities to match. The Portuguese colonial building , and courteous and friendly service staff transported us to bygone days for a couple of heavenly days. With the Park being closed to all except hotel guests between 5 pm and 9 am daily we had plenty of opportunity to enjoy the Falls experience alone or by moonlight - truly meditative experiences.

If you are hesitating over whether or not to book this hotel, just do it! We had a wonderful 2 night stay here with impeccable service. We arrived around mid-day on the first day and left late in the afternoon on our last day, which gave us ample opportunity to see both sides of the falls as well as time to relax by the hotel's beautiful pool. We ate at the poolside restaurant on our first night - a wonderful buffet style Brazilian barbecue - and the second night we were able to sit and watch an amazing sunset over the falls as we enjoyed a superb meal on the terrace at the Itaipu restaurant. The service on both occasions was outstanding, as it was from all the staff at all times throughout our stay. A highlight of our visit was a pre-breakfast walk along the trail on this side of the falls. We had been to the Argentinian side the previous day (booked via the hotel) and were not expecting the Brazilian side to be quite as spectacular, but it was incredible! And we felt especially privileged to be able to see it when the park was virtually empty - most of the time we had the trail completely to ourselves. This was a hotel to remember in a location that cannot be beaten. Just go.

Excellent Hotel in every way and in the most stunning location. Yes, it's a bit pricey but worth every penny (BR Reias/Cent!). The attentive and helpful staff cannot be faulted neither can the room nor catering and the buffet breakfast is right up there with the best. The Iguacu Falls deserve to be one of the seven natural wonders of the world and you could not be in a better location than the Belmond to appreciate the Brazilian side. A stay here will not disappoint.
