We spent two nights there, our party of three being split in two waterfall viewing rooms. Of course, the Hotel Das Cataratas is a gorgeous place with an unbeatable location. Anyhow, I was expecting the same service level as in other Belmond hotels I had visited, and this was not the case. Our bedding choice (two separate beds), confirmed many times in advance including at front desk when checking in, was not honored when we entered our room. The flip-flop shoes provided in one of our rooms were a mix of different sizes. Our table for dinner at Ipe restaurant had been prepared with a stained cloth (see picture), and waiters either at Ipe or Itaipu restaurants were not able to pour red wine without staining the table cloth with drops. When coming back to the hotel after a 7 hour tour out, we were surprised to find our rooms had not been made up (in other Belmond properties, concierge sends information about customers’ whereabouts to housekeeping, to find most appropriate slots). Finally, it actually rained in the corridor leading to our room (see picture). Do not get me wrong: all these issues were quickly addressed by staff when we complained, but they should not have occurred in the first place. This said, we enjoyed a lot our stay, could not praise enough concierge service and Iguazu experiences staff (transfers, tours, etc.), and we highly recommend staying at the Hotel Das Cataratas when visiting Iguazu falls, for all the good reasons previous reviewers noticed. Final information: our two rooms priced the same had very different views on the falls (one much larger than the other).

We stay at this beautiful hotel for 3 days and enjoy every minute of it! Best possible location, nice rooms, very kind service, nice food and fine wine and above all staff that is unbelievably kind and helpful! Every request was dealt with in efficient, kind and welcoming way! A few tips: tour the national park before 9.00 am ( the opening time for the public) you find yourself almost on your own in most beautiful views. Food is excellent and activities arranged by the hotel were just perfect!

Stayed at the Belmond for 2 days as part of a longer holiday to Argentina. It was the last few days of our trip and it was the highlight . The hotel itself is so beautiful. Wonderful staff . Too many to mention by name but all were charming . The room , though on the small side was delightful. Lovely bathroom with perfect shower . Breakfast was fabulous . We sat by the pool and relished the efficient staff and wonderful food The evening buffet was also excellent. The concierge arranged all the trips to the falls and were super efficient. A car was waiting to pick us up at the airport and our driver who was organised by the hotel gave us a wonderful guide to the area . Stay here ! You won’t be disappointed. It’s not cheap but neither are diamonds ! The falls are pretty amazing too !!

Spent three nights in this great hotel by the iguassa falls. The falls should be on everyone’s Bucket list and there is no better location than this Hotel—Pricey but location-service and Quality are excellent particularly Rodrigo in the bar who’s friendly service topped of a great Holiday break👍😀

Staying two night at this luxury hotel which is a short walk away from the Brazilian side of the Falls, which can be visited early and late when only residents of the hotel have access. The falls are spectacular and are fairly rated as the best in the World. You need to visit the Argentinian side as well which can be arranged form here so two nights is needed at this spectacular hotel.
