We went there for our 1st honeymoon. Spectacular view from the hotel's tower. We were offered room with best view to the waterfalls, but unfortunately the view wasn't that good. Room and amenities were awesome, and we loved the food in the restaurant. Location was best for tranquility, I'd say.

This is my 3rd time at this hotel and at this destination, I have gone many times. I could go back every year. The pool, the bedroom, the restaurants at the hotel, the breakfast, everything is amazing and first quality and the service is tremendous! Remember that you are in front of the greatest waterfall ever and also inside a National Park! It is the best really!

The Belmond Hotel das Cataratas is a grand old hotel, the only one in the National Park in the Brazil side of the Falls. From the veranda of the Hotel, enjoy the sunset over the Brazilian Falls, quite spectacular. Our rom was large, comfortable and well equipped. The pool area is large. Service overall was at the level on might expect from a Belmond operated hotel.

The fact that this hotel is inside the actual national park is what separates it from the rest. This means that you have access to the falls before the park opens and after it closes at night. That being said, all aspects of the hotel itself are wonderful. The pool is great and the Brazilian BBQ buffet is a must. The service was excellent throughout the hotel. Highly recommend!

If visiting the Brazilian side of Iguacu, this is definitely the place to stay; not cheap but well worth it!!! You can see the falls from the terrace of the restaurant, and as the hotel is located within the park you can visit the falls before and after the day visitors are gone. We were lucky enough to be there on a full moon night and the hotel organised a night tour where we could see a rainbow created by the light from the full moon!!! We also went for a tour at 7:00 am and had the sites pretty much for ourselves. Also great restaurant and great swimming pool to relax.
