Dinner was way over cooked no flavor, the room smell like pee. Check in took way 2 long and also there was no extra linens in the room we had 2 request for some for out stay. The gardens are really nice. Outdoor views are beautiful residential street loction is nice.

Our semiannual meeting was held here this past week. From a business perspective it had great catering and environment. Good rooms for meetings and very very helpful staff. On the downside - only one elevator in the main building. But the staff was great in hauling boxes around for us. My room was a junior suite and was quite large. I couldn’t find a business center - needed to send out a few things. It appears to be an older property. Clean and great service. Multiple swimming pools. Pretty property.

Property looked beautiful until I got to the room and saw that they are sort of like a motel setting with the doors opening to the outside. Immediately my opinion of how the stay would be went down hill, but I was wrong. The room was greatly done, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast also good. Only complaint in the end would be the rust in the bath tub. Everything was high class except for that. Normally I would not stay at a property with the doors having outside access but I’ll be back

My first thought upon check-in was fine, and it went well. However no one thought to inform us that our room was to be accessed only by stairs - that there wasn't an elevator available for our heavy luggage. That was a disappointment to have to lug it up the stairs. Upon looking through our room, our mini fridge never closed properly, kept shifting left and right, the ice machine was in an adjacent building that we had to play seek and find for. Throughout our stay in our particular building there was so so so much noise, I think they were maybe upgrading something or fixing something in the rooms next to us - but it was extremely loud throughout our stay from Wednesday to Saturday, didn't let us relax or vacay to our heart extent. Adding to the noise levels were the gardeners and whatever else on site maintenance - it was all very rowdy. The bathtub enamel was chipped everywhere, the doors just slam and you can hear anyone coming or going at all times. A delivery truck blocked us in our parking spot for quite a while not allowing us to leave when we wanted to. The phone lines went down when we wanted to call housekeeping for toilet paper - even calling from my cell phone - we were not able to reach the hotel unless we walked to the lobby. Overall, the fee they charge daily for some of the amenities were useless to me.

The grounds at the Miramonte are truly exceptional and worth the stay. Mirsada is the best massage therapist ever. Her hot stone massage is the best ever. Not to be missed! The new lounge is great and the women who work there are keen to serve. The new menu is a little limited but the quality of the food was good. Rooms are large and well appointed. Bed was not as comfortable as most hotels I have stayed in, mattresses and pillows need replacing. The location in Indian Wells is peaceful, relaxing, yet close enough to most conveniences. You do need a car to stay out here and get around the area, nothing within walking distance. I have been coming here every year for the last 8 years. The $30 resort fee added to the room rates is absolutely excessive on top of an already expensive room rate. That and the high spa fees for services are some of the highest I have seen. Excessive fees for room service fees in addition to the food and auto added gratuities at the spa are also very high.
