Terrible customer service - don't stay here

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 21 hours ago

We had a lamp fall off of our nightstand in the middle of the night - woke us up - no idea how it happened other than the staff had left the top window open and maybe the curtains hit it - it was windy that night. Maybe it was moved too close to the edge - just not sure - but regardless - not our fault. Reported it to the front desk - then when we checked out - they charged us $300 for the lamp - said it was our fault and that I would have to claim it on my insurance. Ridiculous - it was glad we were not hurt and did not step on glass. I would not stay there again because of the way it was handled. So rude. I decided not to create a stink - and paid it - and signed something that said I did not agree with the charges - our travel agent called them to see what she could do and they told her that I said it was our fault. Totally not true and they misconstrued everything - would think they would handle it more professionally that this at such a high end place. DON"T stay here..... not worth it..

Classic Elegance, Superb Service

We stayed for 3 nights, had dinner in the Italian restaurant. Room was very quiet and very spacious. We used the valet parking but there is a parking garage attached to the property. Breakfast was superb in elegant surroundings with excellent service. Indoor pool was beautiful, as was outdoor jacuzzi with views of the paragliders coming down the mountain. The hotel is very centrally located. Outdoor terrace bar was a delight in the evenings, we used the indoor bar due to rain, live music every night. As you can see our stay was wonderful, highly recommended this hotel. We hope to return

Magical stay at Grand Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

From the moment we walked in the door until the valet brought us our car upon departure, our stay was an amazing experience. The hotel, though recently remodeled, made us feel as if we stepped back into time with the exquisite decor. Chandeliers, fresh flowers, gold banisters, marble flooring, and large suites, welcomed us. The pool was heated and ideal for swimming laps. And the outside heated and over-sized hot tub was so much fun with the Alps as a back drop. The restaurant experience blew us away because they devote an entire room to breakfast foods. Laura and Francesca not just waited on us but catered to our every whim. Being tourists from America, they also suggested great places to shop and eat chocolates! Our stay at the Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel was truly one of our highlights of our European vacation.

Beautiful stay, fantastic service, excellent food

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

We stayed for two nights early May. We were impressed by the service and the food of the hotel's restaurants. All staff was super-friendly and attentive. The room was clean, spacious and equipped with all we needed. The hotel is well located, close to shops, railway stations and restaurants. We ate at Radius and La Terrasse. The food was very good in both but Radius beat most we had in the last few months. Although pricey, we strongly recommend trying it. The pool area is nice, probably a bit small if the hotel is fully booked. We liked the SPA area, a quiet place to relax. We had 2 treatments each, both standard (neither great nor bad). We will go again.
