Our stay at this rather remote beachside spot in Puerto Rico was nothing short of magical. If you’re looking to truly unwind and escape the crowds, this is the perfect place. The beach was quiet and full of natural beauty and the accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed. We loved cooking simple meals ourselves when we wanted in the bungalow and then wandering over to Eclipse, the restaurant overlooking the ocean, for more special meals. The setting of the resort felt private and secluded and was a great base to explore the surrounding areas. This was exactly the peaceful getaway we were hoping for. It's beautiful, quiet, and full of natural charm. We left feeling completely refreshed and can’t wait to return some day.

My husband and I spent two nights at the Villa Montana Beach Resort. We had paid extra to secure a One-Bedroom Garden View Villa, but unfortunately, our stay was marked by significant disappointments and poor service. Issues encountered during our stay: Unusable Garden: Our garden view villa included a bench that lacked cushions, making it unusable. After more than a full day and three separate calls to room service, we were only provided with regular bed pillows instead of proper cushions. As a result, we were unable to enjoy the garden view we had paid for. Limited Dining Hours: Although the restaurant and bar staff were pleasant, we discovered that during the week, they only open at 5:00 PM. This left us with no on-site option for coffee, breakfast, or lunch throughout the day. Pool Closure: We had planned to spend our final morning at the pool before leaving for the airport, only to find it closed for cleaning, despite its scheduled operating hours. Taken together, these consistent service failures and lack of basic amenities do not justify the high price point nor the use of the word "Resort" in the property's name. Since checking out, I have called several times to complain and request a partial refund. On three separate occasions, I was told that management would follow up with me, but they haven't done so.

3 nights was all we had although 4 or 5 would have been better. Great beach location away from life as we know it. Relaxed and kinda remote but no problem to get to with a hire car. Parking onsite easy. Good stay with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Shower had a problem, but after reporting it, it was dealt with. Exceptional sunsets! Fantastic beach. Good staff at the restaurant and great food and views. Can see why it’s a popular wedding venue. We’d go back.

Even the journey running up to this resort is formidable. Organised gardens and a fantastic beach, it’s got it all. Our suite was elegant, beachfront, crazy not to be. Read up about the restaurant, the great reviews were not joking, evey dish was something else to look at and were a treat to experience. The staff were polite and everything we wanted was provided. No pressure here, we just relaxed and drank in the sun, sea and cocktails. What a special part of the world.

We try and have a bit of a family reunion every 2/3 years somewhere nice and this year it was down to me to organise. I spent weeks researching different locations and resorts and finally chose Villa Montaña. Great choice and everyone was impressed. We had two 2 bed garden view villas which comfortably accommodated the whole family. Great kitchens and good beds/towels etc. The living room spaces were also good. We had to request housekeeping as it seems it isn't automatic, but the villas were left spotless after doing so. Beautiful gardens and trees all around. There's free parking, tennis courts and 2 pools to use and of course the fantastic beach. We had some great family beach days snorkelling, sunbathing and just hanging out in paradise! Eclipse, the only restaurant, is good quality. Prices reflect this but we never had a bad meal there. Nice staff too. All in all we had a perfect family vacation here.
