Nice location to spend a few days chilling. Friends had recommended Villa Montana resort to us and we had a great time. Nice room which was bright and clean and peaceful. We had to request housekeeping, which we hadn't realised, but once we did that, the room was serviced well. The restaurant on site is very good and we enjoyed sitting around and taking our time with drinks after. The staff were all very friendly and professional and the beach and views are incredible here. There are cycles to use and snorkelling gear is available. Also chatted to a golfer staying at the resort who said the nearby golf course was great, if that's of interest to anyone. Stay there, if you're looking for a chilled, peaceful experience by the beach, with good accommodation and nice surroundings.

Fabulous experience. We had a vacation that we will remember, and for sure cherish in our memories for many years to come. From the moment we arrived we loved the atmosphere and setting of the resort. The beach and coastline in this area is incredible and it feels a world away from San Juan. We had a 1 bedroom villa with garden view. Very clean, very light and a good feeling of space. Th bed was comfortable and we loved the outlook to the greenery outside. It was well set up and served us very well for our stay. It took a few minutes to walk over to the restaurant but it was a nice stroll and the gardens and trees were beautiful. Better lighting in the evening around the villas might be a nice addition? Food at Eclipse was a high standard and they had a nice selection on the menu. It can add up a bit if you plan on eating there for most of your meals, but the service, setting and quality cannot be faulted. As far as activities go there was all sorts of sea based stuff available to try. Snorkelling was our thing and we had a great time. All in all we enjoyed it here so much thanks to the privileged location, great staff and nice accommodation.

Amazingly beautiful natural hotel grounds, that blend onto a gorgeous sandy beach. Our onebed villa had plenty of space, good storage, quaint bathroom, cleaned beautifully every day. On the whole the staff were lovely people, particularly the waiters in the restaurant. The food was freshly made and the choice was never boring. It’s the kind of holiday you can do as much or as little as you want. We made the most of the natural beauty here, sunsets and sunrises were unreal and the lizards and birds were plentiful. Yes, we would definitely come back. It’s a one off, in the best possible way.

Our stay at this rather remote beachside spot in Puerto Rico was nothing short of magical. If you’re looking to truly unwind and escape the crowds, this is the perfect place. The beach was quiet and full of natural beauty and the accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed. We loved cooking simple meals ourselves when we wanted in the bungalow and then wandering over to Eclipse, the restaurant overlooking the ocean, for more special meals. The setting of the resort felt private and secluded and was a great base to explore the surrounding areas. This was exactly the peaceful getaway we were hoping for. It's beautiful, quiet, and full of natural charm. We left feeling completely refreshed and can’t wait to return some day.

My husband and I spent two nights at the Villa Montana Beach Resort. We had paid extra to secure a One-Bedroom Garden View Villa, but unfortunately, our stay was marked by significant disappointments and poor service. Issues encountered during our stay: Unusable Garden: Our garden view villa included a bench that lacked cushions, making it unusable. After more than a full day and three separate calls to room service, we were only provided with regular bed pillows instead of proper cushions. As a result, we were unable to enjoy the garden view we had paid for. Limited Dining Hours: Although the restaurant and bar staff were pleasant, we discovered that during the week, they only open at 5:00 PM. This left us with no on-site option for coffee, breakfast, or lunch throughout the day. Pool Closure: We had planned to spend our final morning at the pool before leaving for the airport, only to find it closed for cleaning, despite its scheduled operating hours. Taken together, these consistent service failures and lack of basic amenities do not justify the high price point nor the use of the word "Resort" in the property's name. Since checking out, I have called several times to complain and request a partial refund. On three separate occasions, I was told that management would follow up with me, but they haven't done so.
