This was our second time staying at Villa Montana. Our room was updated this time and was even more peaceful, cute, and comfortable. We ate at Eclipse again, and it was just as amazing as we remembered. Peaceful, private beach for miles and well maintained perfect property. Cannot recommend it hear enough, such a dream.

Please take the time to read this my experience with Villa Montana. Unfortunately for me, I have some negative memories of my special day because of them. I live in New York and wanted an intimate affair with just immediate family in Puerto Rico, there was 8 of us. Everything that could have gone wrong did!. Villa Montana 1. Forgot our flowers that were promised 2. Reverend did not read the vows we wrote, he made up his own that we completely hated, messed up our childs name. 3. Had a homeless local on a bike just a couple of feet from our wedding sitting on a bench ( yes the security sucks and locals get in) 4. Our dinner was not under the gazibo as in our contract and promised. We were moved to the Eclipse restaurant with everyone else in the resort no privacy people were taking pictures. 5. Forgot to order my cake. I went over details with the planner the day before she completely forgot to order it. Made up a excuse that baker could not make cake. 6. Grounds were disgusting- 1. The day before my wedding I checked into a dirty room with no hot water, a dead bug and public hair on the bed with my five-year-old laying in it, gross!. Finally moved to another room that was just as dirty at 11:30pm with an ac that did not work. Slept 2 hours night before my wedding, nodding off the whole time during my hair and make up the next day. No apologies from the manager- said he sent housekeeping and they didnt find anything. Told me my standards were high, and he can help me find another hotel. 2. Dog poop all over the beach (if you plan on having a beach wedding beware they don't clean there are strays ever were) 3. Gazebo not as pictured on here, so old and beaten up least thing they could have done was a fresh coat of paint. If you plan on staying here just know that you cannot swim in the water, it has huge rocks.

My wedding weekend at the Villa Montana Beach Resort (VMBR) was a dream come true. My now-husband and I went to PR to look for wedding venues in San Juan and picked another location. But due to bad customer service and changes in room pricing, we ditched them and started our search over again. We were looking for a venue that was as all-inclusive as we can get, and we had to rely heavily on reviews online. Due to its raving reviews, we reached out to VMBR and was connected with Yhasmina Sophia, their coordinator. Yhasmina was so pleasant and answered every single one of my questions, and my mother-in-laws, without hesitation or making me feel like I was asking dumb questions or being a bother. This venue was the most all-in-inclusive I could find in Puerto Rico. I hired them to cater and decorate the Welcome Dinner on a Friday night, and Saturday the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. That included the flowers, décor, drinks, food, wedding cake, DJ (I got my own), even the officiate. The whole event ran so smoothly! On Friday they coordinated with us to rehearse the ceremony, and was patient with my bridal party that was always late. The welcome dinner was delicious, the décor gorgeous and romantic, on the beach. We got the fire pit and s’mores, that was a hit. Then they let us play our music till pretty late. On the day of the wedding, they made sure everything moved along. We hired their violinist for the ceremony and she and her partner were so good! The drinks and appetizers at the cocktail hour were great! They rode my husband and I to the reception venue in a golf cart, that was funny. The reception was decorated just as we discussed and looked like a dream, pinterest eligible pictures because it was so gorgeous. On Sunday we had coffee and pastries delivered to our suite for our guests, and that was delicious too! All of my guests were raving how this was the best wedding they have ever been to, that it was so beautiful. I would 1000% recommend VMBR for any wedding events!!

My husband and I stayed here for one week and loved it. Very impressed with clean and beautiful grounds, friendliness of staff. Loved relaxed environment - not like Miami Beach. Loved rustic decor of our villa. Also access to great restaurant and local food eateries - great cultural experience. Not close to tourist attractions- except for great beach. Wonderful and beautiful place to relax.

My wife and I stayed here for a week in May. We absolutely loved it. We stayed in one of the one bedroom villas with a kitchen and living room and dining. The decour is purposely rustic with a casual tropical vibe. More laid-back beach casual and not at all modern Miami Beach. The villa was in great shape, the service was amazing and the grounds are very well-maintained. And it's all steps from the beautiful semi-private beach, two pools and the open air restaurant (also excellent food). One downside is that you're not very close to your traditional tourist amenities. You can still find pretty much anything you need, but it will be from local businesses rather than US-based chains. You can find a Wendy's if you want to drive about half an hour, but affordable local places with rice and beans on the beachfront are much easier to access. Same for surf shops, horseback riding, etc. It's also a bit out-of-the-way so you will have to get specific directions. But once you get here it's truly a secure oasis of calm and beauty.
