Couldn’t have been better - the suite was such a pleasant surprise and the beach is absolutely beautiful. We had a large and very private terrace, kitchen, living room and washer/dryer. The zen pool was fabulous with its cabana beds, and the eclipse restaurant was absolutely delicious (We ate there for every meal). I highly recommend the omelets and pancakes for breakfast, the Puerto Rican bites, coconut tempura shrimp and egg rolls for appetizers/shares and the chicken and Cornish hen for entrees. This place is better than the pictures - the beach is secluded and has breath taking views. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed there for a wedding. The staff at the front desk was not friendly, my room was dirty, we had animal stool in the bathtub, no wifi, no lounging chairs in the “zen pool” area, no hot water in the bathroom and the absolute worst thing was that I could hear EVERYTHING that was happening in the room next to mine. Make sure to bring your own drinking water, after 11pm the front desk will not answer the phone and the restaurant will be closed. This resort is over priced for the rooms and service. The wedding decoration was beautiful but the staff were lost and slow. When I checked out, the incompetent staff didn’t even asked how my stay was. This is NOT a resort, I wouldn’t even call it a hotel. So dissapointed, I wouldn’t recommend it for a stay or a wedding.

I had the worst experience. First of all, some villas are not identified, so I could not find my room. It took me more than 20 minutes to locate it. The prices are so high, I was expecting a good sized room. Nevertheless, it was very small. The room was dirty, the room was not swept and it had poop in the bathtub. One of the pool areas did not have chairs to sit and take a suntan. On the other hand, the beach does not have a shady spot. The service was horrible. The bartenders in the Eclipse restaurant were very slow and one of the waiters were unfriendly. Their system went down so I asked to charge my bill to my room and one waiter said she could not do that. Hence, I waited more than 30 minutes to be charged, they did not resolve the problem, so I asked other waiter if he could charge my bill to my room, and thanks to him he did it. Although the food was good, it was very pricey. The signal in Villa Montaña is not good, so I wanted to use the wifi in my room, and I could not find it. Other friends were staying at the resort too and they had the same bad experience as I did. Overall, I had the worst experience there. Do not recommend staying here. To pricey for what it really is.

This is a great resort to get away and enjoy peace and quiet. The Eclipse is good for a quiet evening Oceanside. The resort is far away from any store or restaurants so I would suggest a rental car, Jobo beach is not far from the hotel but not walking distance. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
