Reviews for Mezzatorre Resort & Spa
We booked 3 nights at Mezzatore in a superior room and could not have been happier with room 133 which was in the main tower overlooking the sea on two sides. We could see both sunrise and sunset which was a great way to start our mornings. Service can make or break an experience and everyone at the resort went out of their way to make sure our experience was fabulous from drinks with live piano music on the patio to pool, spa and dinner. The location is quiet with access to the sea and is a great place to unwind and distress. Recommended.

Utter perfection. The views are outstanding. Room 133!!! Corner room in the tower! Watch the sun rise and set! The staff there are so incredibly helpful. They go above and beyond to be sure you have everything you may desire. The bellinis are not to be missed. Best we've ever had! Pool swim, ocean swim, spa, bar, restaurant...there is no reason to leave. But if you decide to go anywhere, they will arrange it all. Taxi / reservations / boat trip, they have you covered. There isn't a thing to change here! It is complete relaxation! As an FYI: I would skip the very public thermal spas on the island and use the ones at the hotel. They are much much better and no crowds. Thank you so much for spoiling us!!!! All we were required to do was laugh...and we did!!!

The hotel is in a beautiful location, so relaxing and quiet. The rooms are not as luxurious as I expected hence only 4 star rating. The food is good and the service is representative of a 5 star hotel. The staff are excellent and absolutely deliver a top notch service. Id certainly go bCk given the opportunity. The only negative being it is expensive to eat and drink at the hotel, more expensive than some of the higher quality restraunts locally. Pricing is the equivalent to London 5 star hotels! Expect 5 euro for a coke and 45 euro for an average bottle of wine.
We stayed three nights at this property and we were very satisfied with the stay. Hotel is located in a natural park with access to private beach and had a pool and tennis court (in clay but needs better maintenance). Good restaurants both on the beach sciue and in the hotel Chandelier (more upscale). You have pianist every evening at the bar. Spa is nice with a lot of thermal pools, yet you have to book different packages to use different pools which I don't find convenient, hotel should propose one price for the four thermal pools. We were upgrade to a nice Sea view room thanks to LHW membership. Overall a pleasant stay and beautiful island with blue water.

Overall, we enjoyed Mezzatorre very much. It is beautifully situated on a forested point of land with magnificent views of the sea. The staff is very nice and helpful, and the cocktails and food at Chandelier are also very good. However, the condition and cleanliness of the rooms need to be improved. We stayed in one of the open-plan suites, and while it was quite nice, it was also rather worn -- chipped paint here and there, and a slightly tired feeling in the furnishings and condition of the room. The suite itself was not very large, and at the rate charged it should have been pristine. Additionally, the bathroom was not clean when we arrived: residue of previous guests remained. Not acceptable. Nevertheless, the property itself is so pretty and peaceful that our stay was still very pleasant. Mezzatorre, don't rest on your laurels -- you need to up your game to deserve to remain a Relais et Chateaux member.
