San Montano Resort & Spa

San Montano exceeded every expectation. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, the rooms are beautiful, and every detail of the property is thoughtfully done. What truly sets it apart, though, is the warmth and genuine hospitality of the entire team. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The food was outstanding, the thermal pools and spa were exceptional, and the views are among the most beautiful I’ve ever experienced. San Montano is truly a rare gem, one of those special places that stays with you long after you leave. I can’t wait to return and would recommend San Montano without hesitation to anyone visiting Ischia.

My mother and I had the most wonderful experience at the spa at San Montano Resort. We treated ourselves to facials and anti-stress massages with Grazia and Gina, and it was truly one of the highlights of our stay. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely relaxed and cared for. The facials were exceptional—our skin looked and felt incredible afterwards, with such a noticeable difference in brightness, smoothness, and overall glow. We were genuinely amazed by the results. The anti-stress massages were equally outstanding. They were so deeply relaxing that we both found ourselves drifting off several times! It was the perfect combination of expert technique and a wonderfully calming atmosphere. In fact, my mother enjoyed her massage so much that she booked another one later in our stay. She said it was the best massage she has ever had in her life, which is about as high a compliment as you can give. A huge thank you to Grazia and Gina for making our visit so special. Their professionalism, warmth, and skill are exceptional. We'd also like to extend our sincere thanks to Antoinetta for all of her help throughout the spa booking process. She was so kind, welcoming, and helpful, making everything effortless from start to finish. We couldn't recommend the spa more highly and can't wait to return.

Nice location and attentive staff in the restaurants. Pool staff could be more courteous. Spa manager and staff are great. Air conditioning in our suite was terrible. We really could not sit in our living room because although something was running in the 4 days we were there it never got cold and bedroom got cool at best. the net is its a nice place but NO WAY a 5-star resort. More like a 3.8-to-4-star place.

San Montano was amazing from start to finish. We loved everything about our time in Ischia, and so much of that came down to this hotel. No request was too big or too small, the staff accommodated everything beautifully, and they did it with genuine warmth that made us feel completely taken care of the whole stay. On top of all that, the value was fantastic. For what we experienced, both in terms of service and the overall stay, it felt like we got so much more than what we paid for. We loved the staff, we loved the island, and we loved San Montano. If you're considering Ischia, this is the place to stay.

We stayed here in Ischia for 3 nights. The amenities and pools were very nice, however the rooms and cleanliness not as much. The rooms were very small and outdated, and we found popcorn being swarmed by ants in our room from the night before.
