We stayed at San Montano for 8 nights in September. Having travelled extensivelly I can say this is one of the best hotel we have ever stayed: the service, the staff, the attention to detail is outstanding. The views of the Bay of Naples are mesmerising, the thermal pools wonderful, and the restaurants serve great Italian food. We absolutely loved our stay, a massive thanks to the staff at San Montano who made our stay so special. We'll certainly be back!

Our visit was outstanding. The hotel's location high up on a cliff gives the most extraordinary views. Our suite was both luxurious and comfortable. The spa is well-managed and our massage therapists were outstanding. Bravo to the management and staff for making our visit one to remember. We LOVED this hotel!

We stayed here for one week in Sept 2017. The hotel is run with a level of professionalism rarely seen, which translates into excellent service and a very friendly and helpful staff. The management team should be very proud. Also, and this wasn't expected, the restaurant service and food was extremely good and I would highly recommend staying half board. We used the spa on 6 occasions and each time had excellent massages. I have see other comments about the cost of drinks etc, my response is that service and quality has to be paid for.. forget the price and enjoy! PS. extra special thank you to the front desk, as with the rest of the hotel, very helpful and efficient.

Our expectations have not been met. The hotel has really beautiful views, but it is the only one without a whistle. Overall, I would rather rate the level of services and hotels (rooms, equipped, food) to 4 *. I think it deserves investment in equipment and pool improvements (bare feet of rough concrete). Breakfast is still 95% repeated. Completely error-free is not even transport from the city. We should have chosen a different destination.

Just returned from our eighth (!) trip to San Montano. We were due to arrive couple of days after the earthquake of 21 August and, honestly, we were going to cancel after hearing on the news that the island was almost devastated and tourists had been evacuated on boats. What an exaggeration! Everything was peaceful, tranquil and beautiful as ever. Thanks to cancellations we were upgraded to one of the best rooms with private infinity pool which was newly open this season. As if eight thermal water pools are not enough, two more are in the pipeline to be open next year. 360 degree view over hills, beaches, marina and village are breath-taking! Food is very good and many fruit and vegetables are supplied by the resort very own organic garden. But what makes us return year on year is the service which is impeccable. Many of the staff have become personal friends without compromising on service or crossing the line. They make you feel welcome and no request is left unattended. I'd love to say personal thank yous but it would mean calling every single name! See you next year guys :)
