Wonderful spot to relax and really appreciate the staff -very friendly, Alex was there to help even before I could ask! It's pretty hot here in August, but the pool is refreshing and palms are shady and there's a great breeze most of the time.

We stayed in a 2nd floor Ocean Front King Suite, and it exceeded everything we expected. Incredible views, very spacious, and incredibly clean. The service was wonderful throughout the resort. We especially loved our waiter, Dorbenz, who took great care of us during our stay. The grounds are beautiful and the location is perfect to explore shops and restaurants off site. This was the perfect family vacation to finish off our summer. Our two sons loved fishing off the pier and while we enjoyed the water. Cheeca provides paddle boards, kayaks, fishing gear, and the activities. Thank you Cheeca Lodge for helping to make our vacation very memorable!

Excellent resort! Great for couples wanting a little R&R. We had good food, great drinks and plenty of activities to do. Kayaking, paddle boarding and world class snorkeling all on premises. Will be coming back!

We had a 2nd floor king room overlooking the lagoon. Very relaxing view and well lit up a night. Beautiful grounds with nice walking paths. The room was spacious and clean. Multiple pools and jacuzzi's, one more private and quite than the beach side pool and jacuzzi. The staff was exceptionally polite and helpful. The Atlantic Restaurant was very good for dinner.

We are all in our cars, heading back home after a blissful week at Cheeca, trying to readjust to reality and wondering at the same time how soon we can all come back. Our stay was, once again, wonderful. There were 15 of us this time, staying in 6 different rooms or suites and 4 different buildings and the only disappointment was that we didn't score a suite with a kitchen (with 4 little ones along, that would have made it perfect.) Even spread out as we were, it was always an easy walk to meet up.This time we were mostly encamped at the family pool with occasional forays onto the golf course, or out on the freely available kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, or walking the pier. The whole staff at the pool was excellent - always available, plenty of fresh towels, no problem having chairs moved, delicious fruit-infused ice water for the taking.... I have to award special kudos to Renal and Marcus at the pool bar; they were spectacular! - friendly, gracious hosts who actually seemed to be enjoying the party themselves, and who were absolutely charming with our children. I don't know what they make, but they deserve a raise. The food on-site is delicious, if a bit pricey. The convenience was worth it for us, and we recommend the fish tacos, the sushi, and of course, the lobster grilled cheese! If dining off-site, there is the free shuttle to drop you off and pick you up. Truly a "park-and-forget-it" resort. There is a convenience shop across the street, should you need it. If you are looking for contemporary glamour and state-of-the-art everything, I have to say that Cheeca Lodge is probably not for you. Cheeca is pure, old Keys. Settling in is like curling up with a contented sigh in that favorite, comfortable sofa you've had forever. It's a bit threadbare here and there, but the ambiance, and invitation to total relaxation are 5 star all the way.
