CHEEKA always has and always will be my favorite vacation spot in the world. Their location, amenities, the professionalism of their staff I have not found anywhere else—and I have travelled extensively to literally all corners of this world. CHEEKA is simply the best

Beautiful room/eat elsewhere

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 18 hours ago

We just spent 3 nights in an oceanfront king suite with a tub on the balcony. The room was large and comfortable. Huge bathroom with a slider to the balcony and tub. Views of the ocean from everywhere. Note that the tub is a soaking tub and does not have jets/bubbles. We loved it, used it every day. Also, these rooms are in the main building. There was a cold snap while we were here so we didn’t use the pools. But we walked around the resort, and everything looked beautiful and well kept up. The fitness area was nice with lots of equipment. Staff was very pleasant, greeted us with champagne and was very helpful whenever we needed it. Although in the evening there is only 1 person at registration and we sometimes had to wait awhile for assistance. On our first morning, we ate breakfast at the restaurant. It was just horrible. I had read the prior reviews, but didn’t really believe it ( how can you screw up breakfast?). $72 for the two of us with inedible pancakes, raw bacon, and eggs swimming in water. That was it for us. We went out for all the rest of our meals. I don’t think for this price tag we should have to do that. And we didn’t try lunch and dinner. Maybe those meals are better, but based on the prior reviews we didn’t even try. (FYI we found a great breakfast spot 2 minutes away called Mangrove Mikes.) Not sure I would stay here again, given the food situation. But if that’s not an issue for you, I would recommend it. The resort is beautiful.

Geez you get credit for a stay you never stayed

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

I did not stay here during the time they said I did. Apparently, there may have been another guest with my similar name. Reservations never replied to any of my emails about I did not stay there. It was my Mom's 89th birthday so why would I be away. Be careful with your information at this hotel.

Atrocious accommodations - the resort is wonderful but the room was terrible.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

The resort is beautiful and the amenities are great - lots to do and fun for all. The grounds are immaculate - wonderful pools and beautiful view. You can fish, kayak, paddleboard, play tennis and pickleball. There is even a par 3 golfcourse. The resort is really nice - however, we had a 2 bedroom suite which looked nothing like the pictures on the website. It was very outdated and not very clean - very disappointing. I just could not believe how bad the room was for the price. It was very expensive and was about the same as a Motel 6 :(

Very Expensive for a Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The staff are friendly enough to say hello when they see you but don’t really hold a conversation. The rooms were adequate and inline with a typical hotel room. Nothing special, but if you’re spending all your time in your room you’re probably missing the bigger picture. Their beach area is clean with more of a tiny rock gravel instead of “beach sand” so if you have kids they won’t be building sand castles. The beach itself is long enough to walk but is very short distance to the water so there’s not a lot of room for any activities other than sitting on the beach. The food was good but nothing special and is very expensive. Leave the hotel and save money by eating local, it’ll probably be better than the hotel food anyway. Overall this “resort” is nothing special. It’s extremely expensive for a room and on top of that no meals or beverages are included which makes their prices even more painful. While it is a very clean and comfortable resort I would not return here. I would look for places with better value and amenities.

I recently stayed at the Cheeca Lodge & Spa with my girlfriend. We had purchased the package through Luxury Link. Both of us were very pleased with the accommodations and the amenities of the resort. Everything was just as the offer stated. The service was impeccable. If anything was amiss, it was quickly and courteously taken care of. The food was fantastic, and - did I mention the service? Everyone at this resort bent over backwards to make our stay was perfect. It was money well spent and a vacation to remember.
