Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, South Carolina
Located on the tip of the Isle of Palms, a lush barrier island off the coast of South Carolina, Wild Dunes Resort is a 1,600-acre paradise. Along with Villas, Cottages and Exclusive Homes, this exclusive coastal enclave boasts the Boardwalk Inn, a AAA Four-Diamond property set in the center of the Wild Dunes' Walking Village. The inn combines the classic elegance of nearby Charleston with the casual atmosphere of the islands, and lies just steps along a Victorian-style boardwalk from a white sand beach and the oceanfront pools of the Grand Pavilion.
The resort is acclaimed for its pair of Tom Fazio-designed golf courses. Wild Dunes Links winds through massive sand dunes and finishes along the Atlantic Ocean, while The Harbor Course layout incorporates the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway. Guests enjoy preferred tee times, as well as complimentary play on the 17 Har-Tru courts at the Tennis Center. From cuisine inspired by the Carolina Lowcountry to the charms of historic Charleston to daily outings from the adjacent Isle of Palms Marina, this is the place to make memories that will last a lifetime.

First time here in the area and resort. Beautiful facility and area. Staff were very friendly. I would definitely come back! I would also recommend going to charleston to do the carriage ride and shop the market. wonderful area! Wish trip was a little longer!

The resort was nice and you have the beach right on the property with a short 20-25 minute trip into Charleston. The room was clean and updated. The food on the property is terrible and, for the value, expensive. Eat in Mount Pleasant or Charleston before heading in and bring your own food. The room has a fridge. Do not wait till after 9pm to eat. Plan meals ahead as you will have to travel over the IOP connector for the good restaurants.

Carpets did not looks clean, we certainly did not walk barefoot around villa. Repairs had to be made. Windows were filthy, asked to have them cleaned - did not clean them, they said it was pollen but sliding glass door windows off bedrooms did not have pollen on them.
Elegant resort near Charleston with wonderful accommodations, helpful staff, and excellent golfing facilities. We enjoyed the swimming pools, the meeting rooms, and the excellent cuisine offered. For a meeting with colleagues, this resort is hard to beat!
