really happy with the location of the hotel, right next to Hagia Saint Sophia, I thought the morning call to prayer would bother me but we got used to it rather quickly. annoying part with the location is you cannot get a taxi/uber outside you always need to walk around looking for a street with access. good service, front desk was very helpful and answered my pre-checkin emails very quickly, as well as organized pick up from airport. the only minor disappointments is every day we would have the room cleaned housekeeping wouldn't replace amenities so I would have to call every day for something. Breakfast was good, although I did see the older gentleman waiter pick something out of the pudding with his finger, that put me off. not having room service was little annoying after a full day touring on a cold winters day it would have been nice to order in one night. also the transparent glass in the bathroom is annoying and exposing, i was glad I was with my partner, I wouldn't stay there and share with anyone else. that said good hotel and I would go back, if nothing else for the awesome location.

Its pretty much impossible to find a single fault with this fact I cant think of any. Im a regular visitor to Istanbul and Ive stayed all over the town from Taxim to Aksaray and from local 3 star to multi national 5 star hotels and none beat this hotel. Its position is perfect for all the main attractions,in fact the hotel literally backs onto St Sophia. Its also perfectly situated for moving around the extended city area as it sits on the T! tram route. As experienced visitors to this fantastic city will know the tram system is by far the best way to move around the city, forget taxis, traffic slows them to a crawl and they cost, the tram system is modern, frequent(very) and dirt cheap(6 days moving about the city day and night cost me and my wife a total 35 Euros(and remember the tram card includes all trams, buses, ferries, water buses ,underground trains and cable cars !! Still I digress, the hotel rooms are first class, large comfortable and include a safe, fridge, mini bar ,pillow menu and tea/coffee. the bathroom is typical very modern boutique hotel style with walk in shower and stylish wash basin. The staff are excellent, they cant do enough to help, day and night.they go that extra mile to make the stay relaxing like checking in your return flight for you, calling your taxi to the airport an hour before they are due to check they will arrive on time, they are pleasant and speak perfect English. There is a bar and restaurant but I did not have cause to use either except for the included breakfast. The breakfast was a very pleasant surprise,on coming down the first morning I found the usual continental style items plus the expected Turkish items like fresh yogurt and honey and various cakes, there were a couple of Turkish hot items and I thought ,well thats not to bad,but then it really took off, each table gets a huge plate of mixed cheeses, dried fruits, and cold meats just for you ,then they ask what kind of omelette would you like, cooked to order. There is even chilled Prosecco freely. available.. Most rooms have a good view and are surprisingly quiet at night (bearing in mind there will be the timed calls to prayer trumpeted from every mosque in the city, but this part of the charm of this city and is unavoidable anywhere in town). A small plus ,but one many hotels fall down on is the room lighting, there are options from reading lights to full room light and hidden lighting to subdued back light,I found this a nice touch, and bear in mind we didnt have the top of the range room class. Bottom line, would I stay there again? well to be honest,I wouldn't stay anywhere else now Ive found this hotel!!

We went to Istanbul for a short stay. And we stayed at saint Sophia hotel.. The service we received was excellent specially from Nebi he was very polite had a very good customer understanding.. It is located in the heart of all attraction just walks away.. How ever I would like the management to make some changes with their bathroom. As it was very uncomfortable and had no privacy.. It had a glass sliding door which was noticeable from outside.. Otherwise everything was perfect.

We found this hotel quite by accident and the reviews were good so we decided to book it. It well exceeded our expectations!!! We arrived very late at 2 am, very dark streets and almost no sign, so we weren’t very sure of where it was. But afterwards, it was great. Rooms are spacious and nicely and recently renovated. The lobby is quite nice, breakfast is good, although could be slow at times, but staff at lobby were great, very helpful and attentive to all needs and questions. The location is its main asset. It is just half a block from Hagia Sofía, 2 blocks from Blue Mezquite and very near Sultanahmed Square. Impossible to find a better location. And Grand Bazaar is about 6 min walk. And although it is located in city centre it is very quiet at night, lots of restaurants close by. Would definitely return !!!!
