Reviews for Las Brisas Ixtapa
This was an absolute dream vacation of ours. Las Brisas was a dream come true. The staff was incredible. They went above and beyond to make our stay as great as possible. The cleanliness of the resort was impeccable. We have actually started planning our next vacation to Ixtapa in January of 2019. We are absolutely staying at Las Brisas and this time we are taking the entire family. Thank you so much for having us and we look forward to staying at this wonderful paradise again soon.
We stayed the week of 11/11 thru 11/18/17. The resort is absolutely gorgeous. Staff is outstanding. We had all our meals at the resort and enjoyed each restaurant. The hotel is built on the side of a cliff with all rooms ocean view. We were on the 16th. floor. Great bathroom, king size bed and flat screen t.v. with some english speaking channels. A/C worked great. Maid service Great. Now here is the not so good stuff. Take a can or two of OFF spray. Remember this resort in built in the natural beauty of a forest (jungle). There for lots of ants and bugs at the pool. Gift shop has the spray. Buy some the first day or bring it with you and you'll be happy. Second problem is that seniors can't climb the stairs or walk the long distances like the young people can so be warned and be careful. Superb elevators, very smooth operation. The beach is about 200 yds. long with very swimmer friendly surf. The best part is NO VENDORS. Beach is private and no way to access it other than from the hotel grounds. If your a Young person or an athletic senior, you'll love this place. If your and older senior with walking issues, you'll be happier on the main Ixtapa Hotel row. If your in a wheel chair, don't try it. Too many stairs and cobble stones. sincerely Bill & Barbara

Though sone of the corridors wete designed for younger people, the architecture is stunning! Makes you feel you “own” or belong in the place, awesome!! The fact that the place is 30+ years old, makes it even nicer. Still today, ahead of time. Timeless!!

Staying at La Brisas now and I did not have high expecations. The view is exactly what you see in ads. Incredible! The beach is soft sand, no rocks and new beach loungers. The cafe at the beach is great service and extremely clean. The water has tough waves but very warm. The rooms are again exactly what you see. The bed (new)was hard but the front desk arranged for a piece of foam as a pillow topper and we were fine. The balcony is perfect, great view and 100% private. The food....to be expected in an all-inclusive. Edible, sometimes cold, but the staff make it all tolerable. I didn't come here for the food. The other guests are mostly Mexican. The best part other than the view is the staff, after day 1 they know your name, your drink and are very attentive. Taking public transport is easy and cheap. I would highly recommend this hotel for families or people not looking for a party.

Unforgettable vacation/honeymoon !! This was our first time in Ixtapa and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The ocean view from our room was breath taking. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The weather was great. The food was great, however we found the best authentic Mexican food off the resort. Yes, off the resort. Don’t be afraid to explore. We felt absolutely safe travelling into town and visiting other local beaches in the area.
