Talk about the epitome of spoiled!!! That's exactly what my incredible husband gifted me with when I found out we would be attending the Zac Brown Band Concert ... and then, the cherry on top was 3 amazing nights in the Wort Hotel! I truly don't have the time to express all of the magnificent details but in short, our stay was nothing less than remarkable! It all started with Lindsey who was more than accommodating when it came to the details of this trip. She helped out with our room and made sure we were comfortable with the package deal that my husband purchased ... to include shuttle service to and from the concert and everything in between! When we arrived, Sean, the Bellhop, was waiting outside and his welcoming smile started our Wort experience in the best way possible! I almost felt like I was arriving at one of our favorite Disney resorts that we love so much! Sean helped us get started with his perfect directions and where to go, who to talk to and where to eventually park. After he walked us inside the gorgeous lobby, he directed us to the front desk where there were more smiles waiting for us. It is obvious that the Wort family of employees are more than just working for a paycheck. They are there as a team, enjoying what they get to do in order to make others happy! Well, whatever the upper management is doing .... it's working! :) Thank you to everyone we encountered at the front desk. You made us feel important, even if we were just walking down the beautiful staircase and you gave out a simple smile or greeting ... and that goes a long-long ways. There truly isn't enough of these simple gestures in the world but the Wort family has tapped into it! Sean then helped us with our luggage and escorting us to the Shoshone room. OH MY GOODNESS - WOW! I have had the pleasure of travel and beautiful stays but this experience was set apart. Elaborate cannot begin to define this gorgeous room. Not only was it well thought out with the décor but there was a relaxing energy that was diffused into the air. Honestly, we didn't ever want to leave! A mid afternoon nap was one of our favorite moments during our trip! Our Wort package included delicious complimentary breakfasts and also drinks in the Silver Dollar Saloon. Every employee we encountered was just as pleasant as the last! Thank you again to Lindsey for going above and beyond when it was time for the concert. It was obvious that you had worked out the unending details in order to make your guests feel special ... and you definitely accomplished just that! Even when it came down to the little snacks on the shuttle! It's the little details that may be simple gestures but they add up to a first-class experience! We also had the pleasure of meeting you, Jim, at the concert! You helped us understand why your Hotel is such a success with your amiable personality. Thank you for being unbelievably kind! Well, I could certainly go on and on and on but I'm already up to over 3000 words! :) I must tell on myself though. We actually walked out of there without tipping the ladies who took care of our room. They went above and beyond anything that I've experienced, to include turning down the bed and adding the chocolate silver dollars. I'm serious .. no one makes a more gorgeous bed than these wonderful gals! Your tip is on the way and my apologies for not leaving that at the time! Thank You Wort Family for a Terrific & Memorable Weekend!

We are in our final days of a 4 day stay and I needed to write the review now. I am so appreciative of the folks at The Wort. The accommodations are very nice and comfy; the location perfect, but above all the people are great (let me note Sean (bellman) and Adrian always went above and beyond the call! The ladies who make up the room take special care of everything and very cordiale and accommodating. The bed are firm but we both got a great nights sleep. Hint: there is a humidifier in the closet, we recommend using it at night. The food at breakfast is very good with good portions and the grill and bar at night usually has a band and feels like a place back home. Thanks for making our first trip to Jackson memorable, hope we will be back!!

Situated close to Jackson town square, hotel is steeped in history with lots of pictures on the walls in the common area. Rooms have been upgraded and are outstanding. Huge comfortable beds, rooms warm, delightful selection of shampoos, conditions, moisturizers in the bathroom. Great bar for an après-day drink and also serve a wonderful breakfast.

This was our first time in a top notch hotel like this one. My sister and I were part of a vacation package planned by Adventures By Disney. We spent two nights here. Upon arrival someone took our bags up to our room. We met in one of the conference rooms for a welcome dinner. The food was excellent. Tried some local beer. The adjacent restaurant was great for breakfast. Located right in the heart of Jackson Hole my sister and I had some free time to walk to the shops and see the famous antler arches in the middle of town. The hotel had a deep historic feel. The rooms were clean and the amenities were good.

There are many fine accommodation options in Jackson Hole, but for me, there is only one: The Wort. The hotel is a block away from the town square and all the shops and restaurants it offers. Unless there's a blizzard, you can walk to pretty much anywhere of interest. The hotel is about fifteen minutes away from the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort where you'll be skiing...if it's winter. Unless you want to explore the surrounding topography, forget renting a car. The hotel doesn't have a shuttle from the Jackson airport (get over it), but it does offer a free 8:30 am shuttle to the mountain and an afternoon pickup. If you don't feel like getting up early, the public bus system to and from the resort runs every 25 minutes and is a short block from the hotel. You don't need a car, it's easy-breezy and a great way to drive through the town and still talk on your phone. Unless, of course, somebody on the bus asks you to shut up. The delightful ambience in the rooms, large or small, is totally appropriate and complimentary to the environment. Rooms and beds are very comfortable, filled with all the accessories you need to get yourself out on the mountain or down to dinner. There's a warm and cozy seating area upstairs under a large animal with horns where you can sit by a fire, read, talk with other guests or just fall asleep and miss dinner. There are a bunch of great restaurants in the city, but if you'd prefer not to go outside to forage for food, you need go no farther than the hotel's Silver Dollar Bar. It's a big bar that gets very crowded around 7ish, so go early and get a table by the window. It offers a a slew of delicious appetizers, soups, burgers, etc. If you want a quieter dinner, you can eat just across the hall in the Silver Dollar Grill. Delicious upscale food cooked to perfection and served by a friendly, attentive wait staff. And speaking of staff, everyone from the front desk to the guys helping with luggage are the best. They can all answer any questions about the town, the hotel or how to handle political issues in any country. So: For summer or winter, The Wort offers terrific rooms, great staff, warm and fuzzy environment, great food, fun history and is very geographically desirable. Other than that...meh.
