Great place to stay and eat! Great food, very nice choices for meat and non meat eaters, lovely fish dishes. But the best is the original historic interior design, its a must see in town. Restaurant was a bit busy but its only a sign that the place is so good! Would definitely go back.

Nice strong drink. Great happy hour prices. Only $4.50 for titos. Locals bar. Live country music bad was warming up. Old school feel. Down home cookin' if you want basic comfort food and a good cocktail this is your place.

Listed on the Register of Historic Places, The Wort Hotel is the place to stay in Jackson. Right in the downtown area, it is convenient to the numerous shops, restaurants, and the park. Our room, a Teton Suite, was large, comfortable, beautifully furnished, and had a craved entrance door. Food in the restaurant was good as was the service from the entire hotel staff. Many evenings there is live music in the lounge/restaurant. The one complaint with the live music is that it is often too loud for the size of the room to hold a conversation. While pricey, the room rates aren’t out of line for a boutique hotel in this location. A good choice for a stay while enjoying a beautiful part of the country.

This is a grand old place in the heart of the action in historic, downtown, Jackson Wyoming. It's an easy walk to bars, restaurants and the central square, and the Wort provides valet parking in a nearby secure lot. The lobby might be a little worn, but it's full of wood paneling, magnificent Western art, and a grand staircase. Both my room and that of my traveling companion were spacious, very well appointed, and furnished with comfortable bed and linens. The attached bar was rocking when I was there, with great country music, many couples dancing, and packed crowd. The fine dining restaurant served a great lunch, although we didn't try it for dinner. I highly recommend this place.

Our family wrapped up a western trip with a two night, first time stay at the Wort Hotel. We found them through a web search and their rooms were clean, beds were great and the folks were very welcoming. We stayed at the Cowgirl Suite which was decorated as the name implies and was a lot of fun for our little ones. The concierge Taryn was informed, helpful and actually had already closed her desk by the time we arrived but she opened shop on her own when she heard us enquire and gave us some great ideas and help, very sweet. Great location for getting to know Jackson Hole!!!
