Best downtown hotel, best location, nicest rooms and people who really are friendly, welcoming and well trained. The rooms are quite large and well appointed. We had dinner here as well as beatific. Love the hand carved wooden doors. Breakfast wasn't anything special. Wish they opened at 630 not 700. Good meals, nice presentation. A late night bar is also fun. Rooms are very comfortable.

We had a wonderful all expense paid trip to the Wort Hotel in April 2016 for our 40th anniversary....pd for by our wonderful daughters. This hotel is AMAZING! The History, the Decor, were awesome! The Staff were all very friendly! The breakfasts with the stay were terrific & more than I could eat! Although pricey for some, this hotel is worth the price for that special time!

We love the Wort hotel! We went for our 25 and 30 year anniversaries. It is expensive, but it is very unique. It has fabulous rooms and artwork. The bar and hotel are historic. Fantastic location close to downtown, shops, and restaurants.

The Wort is a historic luxury hotel 1/2 block from Town Square. It's theme is the old west, but nice Old West. We like to visit Jackson in the off season when there are no crowds and the prices for most hotels and restaurants are far less. We spent two nights. We were greeted by an amazing desk clerk named Chris who patiently answered our questions and made sure we were comfortable. From that point on Chris, Adrian, and Marina each greeted us by name and asked if there was anything they could do. The website photos accurately reflect the facilities. The rooms and common space are remarkably clean. Because we arrived a couple of hours early we were given the option of taking an outside room over the bar. We were cautioned that there is live music Friday and Saturday nights and that it could be a bit noisy until 11. We should have waited for our original room. The bass underneath us was formidable and it took another hour for the patrons to stop making noise outside. I mentioned this to Adrian and Marina who moved us at the crack of dawn to another room. The new room was on the first floor, seemed to be larger, with better furnishings, and was completely quiet. it was great! And each front desk clerk asked to make sure we were happy and comfortable. We were and we highly recommend this hotel. We will be back!
